LilZoot got his teacher assignment on Friday. He didnt get the teacher he hoped for. The disappointment was only compounded by the fact that Tee, his best friend, DID. Also - unlike the other teachers - his teacher did NOT send a class list showing who was going to be in his class. So - he couldnt even find comfort in knowing he’d have friends in his class.
Well - I just came home from work, and my son , the PLAYER, had some good news. His crush, Blondie, was in his class!
How did he know? Did he call her?
No! That would be embarassing!
Did she call him?
No! That would be embarassing for HER!
He asked Tee’s sister, LaLa to call and ask ON BEHALF OF TEE. HA! So he knows she’s in his class, but its TEE who asked, not him. And Tee won’t care because Tee doesnt have a crush on her. LilZ does.
I was so impressed.

Oh, he’s a smooth one! He’s gonna be dangerous when he gets older.
They used to post ours on the 1st day of school. No finding out until then. Gave the 1st day of School a Christmasy feel.
I didn’t really have bad teachers, mostly, but in a few cases I could have had the BEST and I didn’t, which was kind of a bummer.
Props to LilZ!
hey could lilzoot help me out with my crush??
Tee? Lala? Is he going to school with Teletubbies???
Wow, I missed out on that sort of thing when I was in school. Same kids, 3rd through 6th grade. Basically no variety…unless someone moved or something.
Sounds like LilZ has really learned how to work the system. Good for him!
you go boy.. wondering where he learned his smoothness from??hmm..
tee hee… he is very very smooth indeed! You must watch him very closely when he is older. I’ll bet he starts sneaking out to meet girls sooner than you think!!!
Watch it or y’all are going to scare poor MissZoot. He’s still her little boy, after all (albeit VERY smooth!).
What a smart little guy you are raising!
Smart kid. Always go through a third party. When I asked my wife out for the first time, I didn’t have a third party, but I had to talk in third person, that way somebody else would get turned down.
Give LilZ a high-five from me! That rocks! (It also sounds somewhat similar to the tact I took when Rob and I met. I had someone else ask his sister if he was single… at first, anyway. These tactics? Are age-old winners! heh)
