LilZoot’s Dad took him to a Halloween Party this weekend. He said he was playing in one of the kids rooms when he jumped off the bed and hit his head on the ceiling fan. The celing fan was on, of course. He said it bonked him several times. He’s got a bump and a bruise as battle scars and was complaining about a headache yesterday afternoon. Of course he was well enough to ride his bike around the neighborhood for hours - so I wasnt too concerned.
Fast forward to this morning:
Mom, can you write a note to the P.E. teacher telling her I can’t do P.E. because my head is all Broken and Crazy?
Heh. Broken and Crazy. That’s totally the excuse I’m using the next day I’m having a “BlahDay” and I want to go home early:
I’m sorry MrBoss. I need to go home today because my head is all Broken and Crazy. I hope to feel better tomorrow.

My head is crazy, and broken. I always get things backward.
Is this a inherited defect or simply from the injury?
Why do they always want to get out P.E.? Lauren will be like, “My finger hurts; will you write me an excuse for P.E.? I don’t think that I’ll be able to run…” My response is always something mean like - “GET OVER IT!”
Is that a permanent condition? Cause I think I have it.
I LOVE the new look of Miss Zoot! Very hip. Poor lilZoot with is broken and crazy head! Awww.
It’s funny, you see, because that’s not even possible.
You see, because.. we had a baby-sitter over and my lilbrother at the time? He wanted to jump off the bunk bed and have her (the babysitter) catch him like me and him did, and me and my parents did. But the ceiling fan? It was on high.
He hit his head in it, blood splattered everywhere, and needed 17(?) stitches. Talk about ouch.
He still has a scar to this day. (Oh, and the freaky part? Two of the fan’s four lights went out that very second his head hit it.)
Sweet! Now I know what to tell my boss when he asks why I left early today.

I think my boss’s head is broken and crazy….maybe that would explain some of the insanity I deal with.
