Well - wasnt that game yesterday FUN? I thought so. I’ll post pictures and talk about the tailgate party later. Right now? I’m about to hit to road to travel to Montgomery to pick up LilZoot.

I just wanted to pop in and say “Hello” and then pop out again to hit the road headed South. How’s your weekend going so far? How did your teams do. You did hear my team won, didnt you? Of course you did…

Go Vols!

Go Big Orange!

Did you hear me? I said:

I’m so MEAN

So, I’ve decided to put the Football Game War aside for a moment and allow MrZ back into my blog. Mainly? Because I need him to post entries for me.

Did you hear about the interstate destruction in Birmingham, AL? Fuel truck wrecked and much burnination ensued. Yeah. It’s right along the route I take almost every other Friday and Sunday getting LilZ to his Dad’s. So now I have to find another route around the closed parts of the interstates and come up with creative ways to curse the city of Birmingham for complicating my life. Damn you I-65/I-20 interchange! Damn you to HELL!

Crap. That was not at all what I was planning on writing this entry about. I don’t even know why I brought that up other than it’s pissing me off.

Let’s try again.

Two of the neighborhood kids were messing with our “StrongSad” Pumpkin yesterday that MrZ and LilZ carved themselves. Well - the kids broke it. When LilZ told me, I came outside and gave them a mighty large lecture about how hard LilZ and MrZ worked on that pumpkin and that they should not have been playing with it. I even had my HANDS on my HIPS. I also added an “I’m so disappointed” sigh. I MIGHT have even pouted.

When we came back from the park last night? There was a brand new pumpkin on our stoop. Yep. I guilted a 7-yr-old into buying me a new pumpkin. I’m SO mature. And powerful.

The Return of Friday Bullets
Category: My blood runs orange and white, Randomly | 21 Comments »

I used to do these every Friday. Why did I stop? Hello…I’m asking YOU - Why did I stop? Well. I’m back. From outerspace. With Bullets. The HTML kind, not the firearms kind - I’m scared of guns.

  • Stacy (not you Stace - I LOVE you) from The Apprentice is finally gone. Dude. She was just deplorable. And I only save the big words for the severe hatred.
  • We met SuzyQ and her family at the park last night. So, LilZoot had his first date. I was so nervous about meeting her mom. She was awesome and cool and really fun to talk to - but totally gorgeous and skinny. So I beat her up.
  • I still love my haircut - in case you were wondering.
  • Cisco - my male Boston Terrier - hates when people hug or dance. It gets him stressed out and he’ll bark until they stop. I took him to the park with us last night? And it turns out he feels the same way about swinging.
  • Yes, I took my dog on the date I chaperoned for my son. He was going to be our “out” if we needed one. We planned for the worst.
  • Tomorrow is the Tennessee/Alabama game. Remember - I am a die-hard, born and raised in Knoxville, TN, Orange hat owning, Tennessee Volunteer Fan. MrZoot kinda likes the other team. (hehehe. He’s going to kill me for saying “kinda”). Go Vols.
  • One more time for good measure: Go Vols. Roll OVER the Tide. Good luck getting any rushing yards past our defense and have fun trying to create a passing game in one week.
  • He’s REALLY going to kill me for that one.
  • I love my husband. He rocks.
  • Edited to Add (by MrZ): Love you too baby :)

Edited to Add (by Zoot): Oh no you dont, BABE. I totally found a way to get ON the INTERNET (shhhh…I’m not at my desk) and delete that CRAP you tried to pull. If you missed it? He tried to add BAMA crap to this entry. The NERVE. GO VOLS!!

Worst thing to have stuck in your head.

There’s been a lot of discussion this week, in blog-world, about what music/song/jingle is stuck in our head. Well, today? I beat you all. I have a CHEER stuck in my head. I would have normally kept this to myself, thinking no one else would have ever heard of it before. However - we found out by watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on Sunday, that many people (little girls, female designers, carpenters) know this cheer. So - I’m going to take this opportunity to try to get it OUT of my head by typing it out, and if any of you have heard it before - feel free to tell me your version. This is the cheer my neighbor, RayRay, taught LilZ along with the entire neighborhood, and they do it ALL. OF. THE. DAMN. TIME.

    Totally! For Sure!
    I just got a manicure!
    The Sun! Up there!
Is bleaching out my beautiful hair!
    Twenty-four, Thirty-four,
I don’t know the silly score.
    Go! Go! Fight! Fight!
Jeez, I hope I look all right.

And at this point? I draw a blank. I can’t remember if that’s the end or not because this is the part that has been repeating in my head OVER, and OVER, and OVER all morning long.
