Things Keeping Me From Posting a REAL Entry

“Why Zoot Has Not Updated In 48 Hours”

  • I ate too much this weekend.
  • I got out of bed at 6am this morning. I leave for work at 6:30 am. You do the math.
  • I had a weird dream about being caught in a flood caused by a tidal wave with Stace and LilZoot. This has TOTALLY freaked me out considering I did not know about the Tsunami News until I got into work this morning. I’m scared of myself.
  • Christmas was so WONDERFUL I don’t want to post about it until I can give it the entry it deserves.
  • I got a pink bike for Christmas. Would you be writing entries for your blog if you had a BRAND NEW PINK BIKE? Much less one with a basket and tassels? I think not.
  • LilZoot is at his Dad’s for the week. This makes me depressed. I don’t want to write about being depressed.
  • I ate WAAAY too much this weekend.
  • I haven’t finished my new non-Christmas skin yet. It just feels weird writing a new entry on an out-of-season skin.
  • I’m really behind on the blog designs I’ve promised people. I figured they are more likely NOT to complain about that if they at least see that I’m too busy to tend to my OWN blog.
  • I didn’t have time to put on my make-up this morning. I’m too blotchy to update.
  • I’m mourning the loss of the Coffee Mate Gingerbread Creamer that will not be sold anymore now that Christmas is over. That stuff was sinfully delicious and should be sold year round. In GALLON sized jugs.
  • I’m using all of my energy that I could be writing entries with to avoid eating the entire pack of Oreos someone left in our kitchen here at work. This kind of will power is exhausting.
  • Did I mention how much I ate this weekend? You try typing with bloated fingers.

I like to think of eating too much as being full-intolerant! I just don’t know when I’m too full of cookies, pumpkin cake, pies, ham, etc……you are excused!!!

No need to explain. I think we’re all going through the post-holiday, moving, new puppy, not posting blues.

      Hello Miss Zoot,
First time posting but long time reading your blog. Let me just start by saying how much I smile when I come to your blog. You seem to be just a great person and so friendly. I may have a simple solution to your “Coffee Mate Gingerbread Creamer ” dilema. My mom does this all the time so I can vouche for it. Just freeze your creamer in small containers, maybe something in the 2 oz. size and when you want to use just scrape a bit out. You may fill your fridge this way if you go crazy but I suggest smaller containers because of “freezer burn”. If you happen to have a stand alone freezer that does not defrost every 24 hrs like the one on our fridges you can freeze in bigger containers.
Hope this helps a bit. Merry Christmas to you and your family, all the best in the New Year! I’d also like to say that we have cats that look just the same. Your grey cat, male right? Mine is a 9 year old female.
