A Year in Review
Category: Uncategorized |

A 2004 Meme. Thanks. (I’d link to the specific entry and possibly do a trackback, but my firewall up and decided in the last five seconds to block her pretty site. Dammit.)

1. What did you do in 2004 that you’d never done before?
Started a blog.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Yes, I did keep a major one. And yes, I plan on making more. Hopefully keeping them all. Especially the one about “procreating”. I’d really like to keep that one.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My neighbor.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No - not really close, anyway.

5. What countries did you visit?
None. I’ve never been out of this country. Not even to Canada or Mexico. I’m a disgraceful Geographer.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
My own home. And my own baby.

7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Feb 7th - D&C. Blah.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
See? That’s too tough of a question. I dont have the energy to really think of a good answer. I’m really proud of how much I’ve taught myself in blog designs…thats a good start. OH - and I’m really proud of the many many good deals I found on fly kicks this year. It was totally the year of the cute tennis shoe in my home.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Gaining 30lbs. I’ve lost back 10 of it, but still. Sucks. Ass.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Other than a miscarriage? Nope. Oh - and one KILLER ear infection that made me want to beat small animals.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My lovely laptop.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
LilZoot’s and MrZoot’s for constantly putting up with me and my damn mood swings. Oh - and any of my pets NOT chewing on or pissing on my belongings.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and disgusted?
My own. Many times. And the company MCI - they really pissed me off this year.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Bills. And smack. Just kidding, Mom.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Celebrating my first Christmas with LilZoot and MrZoot all as one happy family. AND seeing Maroon 5 with LilZoot. AND paying 9.99 for a pair of converse.

WAAAAY too many to think of right now. Maroon 5 and the theme song to The O.C. are th first things that pop in my head.

a) happier or sadder? happier.
