MrZ and I rented a few movies Friday night. Since it was a Friday - the pickins were QUITE slim, to say the least. I grabbed The Big Bounce and Anchorman. MrZ grabbed Shaun of the Dead and I said, “I’ll watch something else while you watch that…”
Well, for some reason, MrZ doesnt like watching movies by himself, so I told him I would sit here WHILE the movie was on, but I had NO plan to actually WATCH the movie. So - in essence? I’m faking watching this movie. What a better way to spend a Sunday morning than to fake watching a goofy-ass Zombie movie.

but…how can you not watch a movie with Queen music featured prominently?
I was tricked into watching Shawn of the Dead but ended up likeing it a good bit. I hope you do too!
I actually thought Shaun of the Dead was funny. The previews didn’t look to appealing, but the movie was good
But, you’re a good wife for sitting there anyway even though you don’t want to watch it !

“Shaun of the dead”? Did that even make it video? Yikes! It sounds awful. You are such the loving wife being willing to fake your enjoyment to make the man happy. I faked drinking gourmet coffee once, but its harder for guys to fake it.
I just saw that recently and I too liked it. Goofy and fun and some good music. But then I am a sucker for anything English, heh.
you didn’t like shawn of the dead? i thought it was hilarious! we watched 50 first dates the other night. so did not expect to like it and loved it. what a sweet movie.

Shaun of the Dead was a hoot and I usually hate stuff like that! Looks like we were watching it at the same time!
Seems that tradition is going on here too…I often fake watching movies that RumDaddy rents. But, I’d also second some Zoot movie reviews! It’d be great.
I’m looking forward to watching Shawn of the Dead… my friend said it was hillarious! We were going to watch it last night but by the time we settled down, I was going to have to leave soon. ;_; Oh well. ^_^ I heard Anchorman was an interesting movie, as well. ^_^
Shaun of the Dead was hilarious!! We rented it and couldn’t stop laughing.
And I like Will Ferrel because I’m a fan of goofy comedies (I HATE scary movies). So Anchorman entertained me as well.
HeeHeee….There are worse things you could have been forced to fake with Mr Z then just interest in a movie. ::wink wink::
