Did you see? There is now a pregnancy category. It’s not a very brave one - but it’s there. Because today? By ALL calendars? I’m officially into my second trimester. The chances that I end up with a baby in six months are actually getting better. Of course, not that I’ve changed my attitude much. I still can’t SEE myself still pregnant in five months, much less with a BABY in six. This has all been such a bizarre experience because you NEED to prepare both mentally and physically for a baby. You know, buy a crib, read a baby book, paint a room, SOMETHING. Yet, I can’t bring myself to even THINK about doing any of that stuff, much less actually DO it.
But today? I’m going to buy something. I don’t know what - but it’s going to be something cute and soft. And possibly one pink version and one blue.
Thank you SO much for seeing me this far. You all will NEVER truly understand how your presence and your prayers/rituals/sacrifices have helped me through what has been one of the toughest three months of my life. (The only tougher? 10/25/00 - 1/25/00 In case you were wondering.) My life has been crazy as of late - I haven’t been able to reply to all of your comments. Hell - I can’t even READ them until days later sometimes. But know that you are all in my heart.
