Here are some pictures of some novel “firsts” as homeowners.
1. LilZoot doing his first task, taking down the sign on our closet door that pointed out the “bonus feature” of the light turning off when you close the door.
2. MrZoot’s first time looking cute and adorable in our bedroom.
3. MrZoot’s first home repair. He was changing the door hinge so it wouldn’t spring shut and lock the animals in the bedroom.
4. The FIRST thing I unpacked into our new house: LilZoot’s most prized posession - his Great-Grandmother’s handmade quilt. He’s VERY proud of it. As he should be.
These are the items I bought today to commemorate the official start of my second trimester. It was VERY tough to decide what to buy because the voices in my head kept telling me I was jinxing the pregnancy. I came home and IMMEDIATELY checked for the heartbeat! (It was there).
How fun! Congrats on all the shiny goodness going on.
I’m so jealous! A whole new house to play with and decorate and paint and everything - I think I’d pop from excitement!

Oh my gosh, between the flying chipmunks of doom soccer cak, your new house, and Mr.Zoot modeling baby clothes, you are one cute family. I’m so so SO happy for you guys. (And you know you’re having a girl, right? You two are going to be an awesome mommy and daddy)
What a neat quilt. Lil Z is right to cherish it. And I love the outfits. Excellent choice. The designs on them are cute and those gowns make diaper changes in the night soooooo easy! I wish I’d had more of them.

Woah, you were brave enough to buy something in pink!! You’re such a rebel! Even after I found out that my daughter was a girl, I refused to buy a specific gender related color in anything! I wish I had balls like that.
I find out the sex of this baby one week from today. I’m dying with anticipation. And after seeing this post, I’m going to try to promise myself to buy at least a few items that are gender related
