Today is the last day of school for LilZoot. He actually gets out half day and his paternal grandmother is going to take him down to Georgia for a few days to see his Dad. Even though I miss him terribly when he’s gone, it’s probably a good thing since we are kicking painting and moving into HIGH GEAR and that is about as fun to LilZoot as watching paint dry.
Especially since, at times, we ARE watching paint dry.
This is going to be a VERY busy summer. With the moving, and the pregnancy, and SOMEONE’s 30th birthday, and then – of course – the next HARRY POTTER BOOK – eek! I hope this will be one to remember. I hope that I’ll be able to tell my child – “The summer I was pregnant with you was FUN and EXCITING and I’ll NEVER forget it!” and not “The summer I was pregnant with you was so busy I lost my effin’ mind and that is why Mommy is in this place with the padded walls and funny jackets.”
It’s a VERY fine line, as you all know.
Don’t worry zoot… we’ll get you out of that padded cell before your kid is old enough to remember anything. Even if we have to hide you in a super target for the rest of your life. Personally… I’d love to hide out in a store forever. Everything I’d need is right at my finger tips.
Out of school. Here in Massachusetts kids are in (Public school) until at least middle of June!

Wow y’all get out early! I wish Em was out already. We’re moving next moth too, so I feel your pain. Well not really, because moving while pregnant is way harder.
I hope LilZ isn’t in a bind cuz he’s way behind and willing to make a deal.

Can you believe we (almost) have 5th graders now? What’s up w/ that??? I’ve got about 24 hrs left of denial…then I’ll have to face the facts.
I can’t talk about kids and school cos hello, I’m 22. But all I’m going to say is I HOPE the Half Blood Prince is better than the Order of the Phoenix. I was riveted (rivetted?) to the Prisoner of Azkaban and the Goblet of Fire damn near broke my heart but Harry was so MEAN in the OOTP! Although Ron was great. Cos Ron is ALWAYS great
