This is one of the pictures I got developed for the wall of photos. It is from a visit my brother made to Huntsville in November, 2002. Almost three years ago.
I just wanted to upload it because A) LilZoot looks SO young and B) I look SO skinny. I miss that girl. I mean, look! Her hair! It’s blonde AND long (this is before that girl decided she was sick of the cost of upkeep of blonde hair and she chopped it all off and started from scratch). Of course, she wasn’t yet married to MrZoot, so she couldn’t have been as happy as she is now. But she also wasn’t yet diagnosed as a “repeat aborter” since, at that point, she had only had one miscarriage. The good AND the bad has happened since that photo was taken, I guess. And hopefully, something so wonderful will happen in October that I’ll never look back and miss that girl.
But she’s just so damn SKINNY.
Let us bow our heads and all mourn the body that was.
We luv our Miss Zoot in any size. You’re so pretty either way. And you can’t compare non-pregnant you with how you are now. Besides, you looked like that after having LilZ. You’ll so have your waistline back shortly after NikkiZ makes her grand entrance. No worries!

First, You look great then, but in the pics from now, you look even better, because you have MrZ and life is good and NikkiZ is on the way. Second, bodies come and go, eventually it’ll come back. I promise! Third. Hair grows right? Forth, well, I love the picture cause Lilz is so dang cute! You just gotta know NikkiZ is gonna be gorgeous!

Wah, I know. I look at pictures of me, pictures that I saw before I got pregnant and I thought I looked fat in, and I’m so sad because I was so freakin skinny. I repeat: Wahhhhhhh.
Love the pic! You all look like you were having fun - so a great day! The best kind to remember and have framed in the wall of fame. I would love to see the finished product - or the work in process product - as I want to do one, but am scared. Yep. Me chicken. Best of luck!
You know what? This is my favorite post. Aside from the fact that YOU ARE NOT FAT NOW YOU ARE PREGNANT and still lookin’ hot, I love the sense of wonder you’ve conveyed at how far you’ve come and the optimism about what the future can hold. Just wait, you’ll look back at photos taken now a year from now and think that even more.
You know what else? This is my favorite skin. Just like everything, somtimes things get a little wonky before they get wonderful, right? . And you just keep getting better and better! Go Zoot!
