I’m hoping if I just keep coming back to post photos, I can get by with very little actual THOUGHT in these entries. Does it work that way?
MrZ just got back from running errands and taking a break from being at the hospital. He says he feels SO much better…he was pretty zapped before. I have been having to constantly get him to do everything for me and it’s been rough on him. He’s handled it beautifully, of course. I’m a lot more useful today than yesterday when I was tied to a catheter (BLAH), IV, and Morphine (YUM). But, I’ve still had major surgery so I can’t do everything for myself. So, he has been quite a busy bee and is now re-energized with good coffee from starbucks.
Oh - and I read my last entry? I think I may have triple dosed the morphine before writing that one. You’ll be happy to know they cut me off from morphine drips and am now to regular pain medicine. This means my entertainment factor has decreased by 20 times.
I’m off to finish my turkey sandwich that has taken me TWO HOURS to eat because my stomach feels full constantly.

Oh, I think you get to use the “sorry I’m incoherent, I haven’t had much sleep lately” for at least the whole first year.
Now, using the morphine as an excuse? probably not advised once you are out of the hospital.

Isn’t it funny how everyone hospital in the damn world use the same receiving blankets? I have like 6 of them between having the 2 kids.

Mine is really great about that too, but most gals I know couldn’t count on their dh’s to do one thing, so I am always thankful for him.

I check your site EVERY DAY. And? Of course I miss the whole baby thing ’cause I’m stupidly moving cross-country. Bah. But? Baby is absolutely amazingly gorgeous! She is quite the princess!

Congrats!!!! What a beauty she is! I sure hope you are feeling better soon. It takes a long time to heal up after having a baby - esp. a c-section, from what I understand. Hope you are quickly on the mend so you can enjoy your new addition
Might I just say that I am not prejudiced or anything but those are the two most beautiful children I have ever seen…Absolutely and that picture is awesome. Both are but the kids one is great!!!!!!
I’m sure that Lil Z’s father is great to him, so I don’t mean anything by this at all… but I NEVER noticed how much he looks like Mr. Z! I would never guess that they weren’t biological father and son. Can’t wait to see the first photo of the whole family. Congratulations and a speedy recovery!

Aww.. you have such cute kids!!! Sleep when you can - I know that’s easy for me to say!! And I’m glad you recognize the fact you had major surgery - I didnt’ think of it that way when I had a section, or at least not at first, but its so true. your body has been through a lot.
