Well…sorry the site was down! EEK! But, here’s an adorable picture to make up for it!
I’m hoping to write more later, but I totally wanted to post an entry about how much I love you guys that I spent a chunck of my morning trying to straighten out my bandwidth issues so i cold get my site back up and running.
We’re doing okay. Still at the hopsital, of course. We’re all VERY tired in ways I never knew possible. I didn’t sleep at all the first night because I was in labor and having contractions (and posting on this site) so last night was my night to catch up on my sleep. Unlucky for me, I guess, that I spent last night with severe problems with peeing. (Long Story) so today? MrZ and I just keep dozing off mid-sentences.
So, I may try to nap, I just wanted to pop my head in to say we’re back!

She is just perfect Zoot! I don’t know how you managed it, but I think you have had one of the prettiest babies I have ever seen!
I hope you get a long nap and extra lovin’ today and take it easy. We may be impatient, but I think we are all an understanding bunch. We only beg for more because we like you so much. We can certainly sit tight until you are feeling better.

Between you and amalah, sheesh! I am glad that my husband has already had the factory shut down or I might be defying my limited maternal skills and trying to procreate again, what with all this unbearable adorableness! I swear, they should have rent-a-newborn services so you could smell the hair, pinch the fat rolls, etc. for an hour, and then turn them back in before you had to change their diapers.
She is gorgeous! A thousand congrats, zoot and family!

She’s beautiful! I mean, i know people always say that (because you have to, considering what people go through to get one of those), but she truly truly truly is. She’s so pretty and so delicate. I used to work with a guy whose wife had two C-sections, and he said that’s how you get the pretty babies. If your baby, Amalah’s baby, and my best friend’s new baby (all joined us via C-section) are any measure of this, then I guess he was right.

Congratulations to the entire Zoot family, but more so to the mommy for doing such a great job. You have a gorgeous daughter; now it’s time to start spoiling her.
