There is some kid who has been riding up and down our street on some moped type vehicle. I guess technically? It’s a very SMALL motorcycle. But it sounds about as macho as a moped. It’s annoying the crap out of me and even though the kid riding it looks about 12, I’m still thinking about beating him up. Especially since it makes the dogs bark. I’ll beat up anyone getting my dogs riled up.
Nikki is here with the hiccups and they annoy her as much as moped-boy annoys me. She’s thinking about beating her diaphragm up.
LilZ is irritated because one of the books he checked out at the library is missing 8 pages. And it’s a mystery book, so that makes it ten times as annoying. You can skip 8 pages in some books and not miss much, but a mystery? Not so much. He’s going to beat up the librarian.
Of course, it’s easy to forget what’s pissing you off when you see this:

First, tell LilZ that one time I was reading War & Peace while I was in Germany. I got to the end only the last 25 pages were missing! Now where in Germany do you find an English copy of War & Peace? I had to wait 2 1/2 weeks until I flew home to find another book!
Second, That NikkiZ is the cutest baby I have seen in a long, long time! I swear she gets cuter every day. And I’m not even related to her, so I’m not biased at all!
I love that smile, she looks so proud of her work!
NikkiZ has discovered early: There’s not a lot of things in this world more satisfying than a really good dump… Smart kid. Good parenting.

Go ahead and beat up moped kid, I won’t tell anybody. We can just say that he fell…repeatedly…against something. lol Seriously, though, I share your annoyance with that. We have a few moped kids around here, too.

There are some teenagers who live across the street from me who play basketball and bongo drums at midnight. They also set off firecrackers at random times during the year. Fortunately, it is now winter and they aren’t outside as much. I sure hope they go off to college this year. Or move.

There’s a kid who lives down the street from my parents who has his own little dirt bike he rides around the block. This Thanksgiving? We discovered that he AND his ENTIRE extended family looooove dirt bikes. And go carts. You could hear the motors revving from the opposite site of the neighborhood all day long.
Heh. Just thought I’d put my two cents in and commiserate over the dirt bike thing. NikkiZ gets cuter every day!
