Yeah, remember when I was glad LilZ didn’t get sick? Well. I spoke to soon. He did get VERY sick. Last night. Sicker than he has ever been in his entire life, probably. There are not words to describe what his body went through last night (and this morning). Except for HELL. And I was there every step of the way, cleaning up messes and washing towels, clothes, sheets, rugs and anything and everything between. I slept for about one hour total. And where am I right now?
AT WORK.
Since taking 12 weeks unpaid maternity leave, I have zero sick days. So, MrZ is home with LilZ today. Hopefully the worst is passed and they’ll just take it easy all day. And hopefully this doesn’t mean NikkiZ was NOT out of the woods yet. And hopefully, I don’t pass out at my desk from exhaustion. And hopefully, I never EVER have to look at cheese dip again. EVER. AGAIN. IN. MY. ENTIRE. LIFE.
Don’t ask. You don’t want to know.
But I’m fairly certain LilZ will agree with me.
EW, cheese dip. Yeah, I don’t wanna know. Hope LilZ’s feeling better soon and NikkiZ doesn’t cathc it!
Poor guy! And you too…it’s so bloomin’ hard to run on that little sleep. I’m pulling for ya!
Oh, girl… I am SO sorry. What a weekend you guys have had… I hope everyone gets healthy really soon! I’m still doing my chants over here ; )

My oldest had that last week.. as he was praying for death, I assured him that he would indeed survive, but it does make ya wonder.

A few years ago, my little guy got so sick… He couldn’t even keep down water for 5 days. FIVE days. He was dehydrated and I’d call the doctor everyday freaking out. It was so sad to see his little 22 month- self so out of it and sick, he’d just lay on the couch.
It scared me so much that I didn’t let him near a McDonald’s play place or public kids area or the gym for more than a year. I just didn’t want to take that chance.
This is Stomache virus season and I keep waiting for the puking to begin. I get out the antibacterial stuff and wipe his hands everywhere we go. The kid’s going to develop a paranoia and compulsive hand washing problem! I feel for you all. I hope that Sweet Lil Z feels better very, very soon.
