Butterfly

Look! I took a pretty picture of a butterfly! Click on it and view it on my Flickr page and then leave a comment telling me it’s the best butterfly picture you’ve ever seen! Okay - not really - but will you look at it and the other butterfly pictures I uploaded and at least tell me they’re pretty? I’m so proud of them.

They’re so beautiful, you wouldn’t even have to TELL me to tell you that they’re gorgeous!

FABULOUS photography there, Zoot. I don’t think my pitiful camera (not to mention my pitiful photographer skillz) could even come close. :) Fantastic job, I say. (and I’m NOT just kissing up)

That there is some next-level shit, kid.

  4. Tasha Says:

I’m not gonna tell you that they are pretty just because you told me too, but Zoot these pics REALLY are beautiful. The colors jump at you. WOW

  5. Elleana Says:

REALLY awesome pictures. You should have them matted and framed - they’d look really pretty in a little girl’s room with all the bright pretty colors! In fact, want to send some for my girl’s room? She’s obsessed with butterflies.

Yellow one is now my wallpaper. I love butterflies. Your pix are swell. Zoot I have a question for you: HOW THE FUCK DO YOU DEAL WITH THE HEAT? I’m in Portland, Ore. As you already knew. And it doesn’t get as hot here as in say, Alabama. (Yeah, stop laughing already. We suffer in other ways.)

But it was 101 yesterday and 100 today, but without the “humididity” as my relatives call it. I am in pain, please advise.

I love the Flutterby’s, but I’m way too lazy to make it over to flickr. Maybe later :)
PS: Jeesh, everything is so green in those pictures, we don’t really get “green” here.. .well, some of our roaches are green.

    Absolutely genius, my dear!!!!

When I came home the other night I noticed this huge and most gorgeous yellow & black butterfly alighting on something on my driveway. So I immediately started digging through my purse to try and get my camera out to take its pretty picture….all the while trying to figure out what it kept lighting on. Then I decided against the butterfly picture once I realized it was a nasty, very smushy dead bird……ruined the whole damn moment. :)
