I got the shakes. Bad. I blame it on years of stimulant use in various forms. Whatever the cause, I have a really hard time taking good macro photography because everything looks blurry. Well, that was one of many things on my mind when I went to Heather Champ’s digital photography session at BlogHer. Granted, her session went a little above my head because I am SUCH a beginner photographer, but one of the handy tips I learned was to try to make use of these bean-bag tripod thingies. Only, where would I find one?
AT my mom’s house, of course!
My brother had thrown one in a package of promotional goodies he sent her a while back. I immediately stole it from her and got a chance to play around with it yesterday. Look! Non-blurry macro! And, of course, in honor of amalah - a picture of NikkiZ with it on her head.

what a great idea!
What exactly is this beanbag tripod thingy? Is it an actual type of tripod? Am I needlessly confused?
NikkiZ is adorable as always!
I went to the Digital Photography session, and I still don’t understand macro. Could you please explain how the tripod helps with that?
I thought it was a hacky-sack……….
