    1 - Chick-Fil-A - I lived without Chick-Fil-A for a LONG time and don’t care to do again…EVER!

2 - Target - SERIOUS ADDICTION…also, my own special form of therapy.

    3 - McDonald’s - the fries.

    4 - Old Navy

5 - Barnes and Novble - it used to be that I would say Borders, but B&N had that 10% card thing, so you can save money there…and I don’t enjoy the Borders Rewards program so much.

6 - BBW - because I work there…so no BBW would mean no job!

7 - Quizno’s - to be honest, I don’t eat often at either of them. But I am sick of Subway.

    10. Gym, hands down

  27. Jessica Says:

    1. chick-fil-a - I worked in one in HS becuase I heard you can eat all the CFA food you want, for FREEE if you were an employee. I hear that is no longer the case, and maybe never was the case ,except at our store beacuse the boss was never there…

I would also really need to have a Dairy Queen - or at least a “All Strawberry Julius all the time” stand.

    7. Subway - it’s a classic and the only way I survived law school.

    8. Movie theater.

    9. High speed internet - but so cruel of you to make me choose!

    10. Mall….what’s a gym?

  29. Tsoniki Says:

    5. Borders, but just because it’s closer to my house.
    6. Bath and Body Works. Brown sugar and fig!
    7. Subway. The http://www.rathergood.com commercial for Quizno’s creeps me out. Funny stuff as internet entertainment, but creepy for food sales.
    8. Concerts. Small venue, big arena, outdoor venue, whatever. I’ll take live music.
    9. Internet. We don’t have cable now and I don’t miss it one bit. Any shows I want to see come out on DVD.
    10. Mall. I hate to sweat.

  33. Aimee Says:

You are probably going to BAN me after this.

    1) NEITHER. I like Shipley’s donuts and I really don’t like Chicken.

    2) TARGET! Wal Mart is run by Satan.

    3) Burger King I guess, I’ve never eaten at McDonald’s. McDonald’s is also run by Satan. NO ONE ever put Ketchup on a hamburger until McDonald’s started. Ketchup and Bread should never meet.

    4) I have NO clue… I’ve never shopped at either one.

    5) Whichever one has a coffee shop… It really doesn’t matter since the only books I ever buy are Cookbooks.

    6) Bath & Body Works… I worked there for 3 years. What is The Body Shop?

    7) Well, I guess if I have to eat a sandwich, I’ll go to Subway… although I don’t really like either… I’m not a bread eater and since I’m allergic to lettuce, I can’t eat salads.
    8) Outdoor Concerts when the weather is pretty.

    9) High Speed Internet Access… the only TV station I ever watch is the Food Network.

    10) I haven’t been to a mall in probably 10 years. I haven’t been to a gym since oh, last time I had to take a PE class in college.

  34. Becca Says:

Oh! I want to play :)

    1. Chick-Fil-A (most def!)

    2. Target (no explanation needed)

    3. McDonald’s (dollar menu!)

    4. The Gap

    5. Barnes and Noble

    6. Bath and Bodyworks

    7. Quiznos (subways around here are gross, and they don’t give you enough food)

    8. A Movie Theater (just cuz they’re cheaper)

    9. High Speed Internet Access

    10. A Mall (WHO could live w/o one?!)

  35. wordnerd Says:

    1. Chick-Fil-A (otherwise, I’d have to cook…)
    2. Walmart (icky people, but better selection)
    3. McDonalds (better breakfast menu)
    4. Old Navy
    5. Barnes & Noble
    6. Bath & Bodyworks
    7. Subway (more selection, and I’m not really crazy about much at Quizno’s)
    8. Movie theater (because culture, really, is overrated)
    9. Internet (it’s what I DO)
    10. Mall (shopping burns plenty of calories if done RIGHT)

  36. Aimee Says:

I just read all the comments and so many of them said something about going to McDonald’s to keep kids happy? um, NO.

I’m 32 years old and have never eaten there in my entire life. My mom told me when I was like 2 years old that “our type of people dont eat at McDonalds.” I never wanted to eat there.

This really wasn’t a “type of people” issue, but that’s what she said to make me not want to eat there because she HATES McDonald’s.

What you make your kids happy with is based on what you allow them to know from the beginning. If they had never been to a McDonald’s, then how would they know that it would make them happy?

  37. Diana Says:

    1.
    (a) Krispy Kreme - Never heard of chick-fil-a, but I am more of a dessert kind of girl anyway

    2.
    (a) Target - maybe because it is CLEAN!

    3.
    (b) Burger King - $1 junior whoppers with only about 350 calories can’t be beat

    4.
    (b) Old Navy - cheaper is always better

    5.
    (b) Borders - the comfy chairs and coffee bar are calling my name

    6.
    (b) Bath and Bodyworks - only because I have never been to the Body Shop

    7.
    (a) Subway - jeez, I must never get out, because I have never had a toasted sub…but Subway worked for Jared

    8.
    (b) An Arena for Concerts - I’d rather dance and sing than sit and watch a movie.

    9.
    (a) High Speed Internet Access - and you can now watch tv programing online, so it works out quite nicely

    10.
    (a) A Gym - Love working out and I hate shopping so that was a given

  38. Audrey Says:

    1. Chick-Fil-A. I’m just not a big doughnut eater, but I love love love those chicken sandwiches!
    2. Target, hands down. If heaven were a store it would be Super Target.
    3. Burger King.
    4. The Gap. I’ve had bad experiences with Old Navy’s sizing…long story short I tried on a pair of pants in a 6, it fit but was stained so I just grabbed another 6 on my way to checkout. Got them home and they fit like a 2. Took them back, told the story, the guy said “yeah, that happens a lot.” Moral: Try EVERYTHING on before purchasing from Old Navy.
    5. I could go either way.
    6. Bath and Body, just because it’s slightly more in my price range.
    7. Quiznos.
    8. Movie Theater, because my husband needs one to do his job.
    9. Internet. You can download shows, so it’s the bset of both worlds!
    10. Mall. I can work out at home. Plus shopping burns calories, so it counts as multi-tasking.

  39. Amy Says:

    FOR ME:

if it’s a Super Target, then hell ya, otherwise I’d want (b) Wal-Mart (Super, of course, if not, then a) Target. LOL!

    3.
    (a) McDonald’s
I’m loyal to a fault sometimes. Even though Burger King’s burgers DO taste better.

    4.
    (b) Old Navy
It’s cheaper and I enjoy the styles more.

    5.
    (a) Barnes and Noble
    Again with the loyalty.

    6.
    (b) Bath and Bodyworks
    See #5.

    7.
    (a) Subway
I love Quiznos, but I eat Subway more often so I guess it’s loyalty again. Truly, I’d rather have Togos than any of them. :)

    8.
    (a) A Movie Theater
Are you kidding me? No contest here!!

    9.
    (a) High Speed Internet Access

    10.
    (b) A Mall

  42. Tammy Says:

    LOL… Wow… let’s see

    1. Krisy Kreme… DUH!
    2. I have both already and they both suck in this town, lol. But I’ve been in both 40 miles north also and Target wins up there, so I guess Target.
    3. McDonalds… BK sucks, lol
    4. Old Navy…much cheaper
    5. Barnes and Nobles… we have one already and I adore it!
    6. Either would be fine with me… essentially they’re the same store. At least in my experiance…we have both out here.
    7. Subway… I never liked my sandwiches warmed, lol
    8. A Movie Theater
    9. High Speed Interent… I love my TV too.. But I’d die without my Internet.. and I’ll never go back to dial-up again!
    10. A Mall for sure… I’d never visit the Gym..lol.. I’m so lazy, lolol

  43. Rachel Says:

No way I could live without Target, just no way. McDonalds either. I love me some internets and most of the show I gotta watch are on local channels anyways, ha!

  44. amber Says:

    1. (a) Krispy Kreme - Since I can’t eat most commercial chicken, this was kinda a no-brainer for me.

    2. (a) Target - I’ve lived in a town without Target before, and I don’t ever want that to happen again

    9. (a) High Speed Internet Access - Anything that I want to watch, I can download

    10. (b) A Mall - This is so much nicer than a stinky gym.

  45. margalit Says:

    1. Neither. Gimma a Dunkin Donuts

    2. Target–The bigger the better

    3. McDonald’s but only if it’s Kosher

    4. The Gap–love the underwear

    5. Barnes and Noble– prefer my own local bookstore NEMBF

    6. The Body Shop–What, no Sephora?

    7. Subway

    8. A Movie Theater

    9. High Speed Internet Access

    10. A Mall–Who needs a gym when there’s shopping to do?

  46. Shawnee Says:

    Oh, fun! Let’s see:

    1. Krispy Kreme, without a doubt. I will weigh 500 lbs. but it will totally be worth it.

    2. Target. Wal-Mart is the Source of All Evil.

    3. McDonald’s. All about the fries.

    4. Old Navy. Can’t beat their prices.

    5. B&N. They have Starbucks & a better selection.

    6. Body Shop. Yum.

    7. No clear preference on Subway or Quiznos. Can I pick a write-in candidate? I love Panera Bread.

    8. Movie Theater. Until recently, I’ve always had to drive an hour or more to a really big concert venue, so that’s no big deal. But I’d definitely miss the vat o’ popcorn swimming in obscene amounts of butter-like substance.

    9. Tough one. If I absolutely had to pick one, I’d go with high speed internet.

    10. Mall. I’d like to say that I’d use the gym but I would completely be lying. If done right, shopping could be exercise, right?

There’s going to be some sort of ice creamery in this town, isn’t there? And also at least one really good Chinese restaurant?

    Anyway, here’s my answers:

    3. McDonald’s, although I rarely patronize any fast food joint - the food is just too awful. I do like McD’s mcmuffin sandwiches, though.
    4. Old Navy
    5. Borders
    6. B&BW - moonlight path lotion!
    7. Quiznos
    8. Movie theater

    2.(a) Target

    3.(a) McDonald’s

4.(b) Old Navy - Definite Old Navy; I get most of my clothes there and their sizes and styles are modest yet stylish, so that I can fit in the clothes and feel comfortable.
