I’m totally not the zoot anymore, by the way.
Category: Giggle |

So, amalah emailed me yesterday. Evidently, one of her readers had been perusing her archives when she stumbled upon a link to me. However, instead of the link being to misszoot.com - it was too an old URL that I used while Yahoo! domains held misszoot.com hostage. (Long story). This old domain, for those of you who weren’t around back then, has evidently been torn into a Pr0n site! Can you believe it? My old domain is now where you can go to see girls with no clothes on. I’m shocked! My poor little innocent domain, now is all dirty and…naked.

So, if you are one of the few who were around back then, you may want to make sure that link isn’t floating around in your archives either. I’m fairly certain you don’t need a link on your site to p0rn. And if you can’t remember my old domain name…it’s I’m the Zoot dot com. Without the apostrophe. That is NOT safe for work - in case you didn’t get the gist of this entry. You know, that the URL that used to house my blog is now…not a mommyblog anymore, that’s for damn sure.

It’s crazy to me that you and Amalah found it by chance… good to know, right? I guess this is what happens to “web litter”, for lack of a better term. Remember that phase when everyone had a geocities site, or something like that? I shudder to think that they’re now, uh, converted.

OK - this post has me laughing out loud (at work)! Sorry it happened, but the way you delicately describe it is just so funny.

    My eyes! I’ve gone blind!

Of *course* I checked it. I’m only human.

That’s such a funny coincidence that one of “Amalah’s readers” had been “perusing her archives” (is that what the kids are calling it these days?). Amy, we understand — when you’re alone all day working from home, things can get a little lonely. It’s nothing to be ashamed of! I even write off my Suicide Girls and Nerve subscriptions as business expenses.
