Also - "Do NOT take that tone of voice with me!" and "Where are your manners? Good Lord." ?! I’m 21, feel about 40, but I look about 16, so I have a lot of run-ins with the Scary Teenagers.

I’m so not old enough to be their mother!!! And I don’t say it on purpose to throw them off. It just… comes out.

However, right now, what's really scary is I DO find myself sounding exactly like my mother. I mean when the words come out, the tone and pitch, and voice - all of it - I sound just like my mom! It scares me. I think it scares my husband more... since our little one is still an infant, I haven’t found myself saying any of those, yet – but I’m sure in a few years I find myself in this situation.
