MrZ has been sick since Friday, for the most part. He was his sickest Monday and Tuesday – but he hasn’t been 100% since Friday. Since we had a sudden trip to Kentucky on Wednesday of last week, by Friday I was a little out of it with axiety and exhuastion. In other words? BAD time for him to get sick.
So, for almost a week now, I’m been on duty full-time. And let me tell you, it is not looking good here, people.
MrZ made it to work yesterday, but due to some of his medications as well as the sinus infection itself, he’s still dealing with weird dizziness which had me driving him around yesterday. Evidently seeing double is not a good thing to happen when you’re driving. Unfortunately for my sick husband – my patience level is at an all time low. I mean – ALL TIME LOW. MrZ was complaining about the ringing in his ears last night and where a good wife would have said, “I’m sorry, honey. Is there anything I can do to help you in your time of need?” – I wanted to say, “If you don’t shut the hell up about your damn ears I’m going to rip them off the side of your head.”
I think it says a lot that I just opted not to say anything.
I’ve been a little short with LilZ too – meaning he and MrZ should be teaming up any day now to mutiny. Let’s hope neither one of them get any illness that lasts longer than a week because evidently my Cheerful Caregiver disposition has a shelf life of 24 hours. After that I become Nurse Bitch.
A lot of people have been sick lately. Hope he’s feeling better soon. Mine turns into a complete baby when he gets as much as a sniffle! So I know all too well about being on full time when they’re sick. Hope you guys don’t get it, too!
Hope y’all are back to normal soon. (Whatever normal is.)
What is it with men? Mine is whining because he has a toothache…boo-fucking-hoo.
My patience is at an all time low as well. For MANY,MANY reasons that I will not bore you with. Suffice it to say, I feel your pain.
And if I have to hear ONE MORE whiny-ass comment from him,about ANY-DAMN-THING I swear I will probably be forced to kill him,dead…deader than he has ever been killed before!!!

Tomorrow will be better,I get to be child free until Saturday night!! There will be much consuming of the wine,I will tell you that much!! And probably drunken sex!!!
