I’m soooo not going to make 100 entries this month.

I would have posted about a zillion times yesterday to tell you about my race if we could have found my damn card-reader to upload the pictures to the laptop. But nooooo…we couldn’t. I kept saying, “I can’t post about the race without pictures!” – and before I knew it the day was over and I was left with one measly entry for yesterday. This brings my grand total for the month to 50, which means I’ve got 50 more entries to write before the end of the month in order to meet my loft NaBloPoMo goal.

(I always write at least one entry a day, so I had to go and up the goal a notch because I’m an idiot.)

So, I’m going to just tell you this. The race went really well and it was my best “event” I’ve done so far. I don’t want to tell you what all was awesome about it because I want to save that for when I can upload the pictures of me in my new fancy running shorts. I felt like such a “real” runner because I was running in shorts, in the cold.

I’ve looked all over the house for that damn card-reader. We’ve been using it for so long I can’t remember where…WAIT. I KNOW WHERE IT IS. I’LL BE RIGHT BACK.

(How’s that for live action blogging?)

I found it! I’m going to publish this entry now and then come back to do my race entry. ‘K? K.

    I hate moments when I can’t find something. Moreover if I know that I saw that thing several minutes ago.

Hi. I’m Kim.

This is my blog that I've been writing on since January, 2004. I call myself Zoot as it's a derivative of an old childhood nickname. I used to write about my struggles to have children, but eventually I succeeded and now, I write a lot about those kids. I don't use my kid's exact names simply because if someone Googles their very unique names in the future, I don't want them stumbling upon my entries about boobsweat. I mean, would you hire someone whose Mom writes openly about such topics? NO. YOU WOULD NOT.

I love taking pictures and carry my camera (almost) everywhere I go. This means you'll see a lot of photos on this site. I also periodically post recipes I like as I've been slowly (but surely) learning to cook and I like to share my discoveries. Finally? I'm an annoying pop culture fanatic so I'll periodically ramble about Hunger Games or the latest Parks and Recreation.

I hope you like it here. If not? Please don't tell me. I cry easily.
