To Do
At this moment I have 272 288 comments on the delurking entry. That’s a big chunk of change for Camp McDowell. I’ll post a report on Friday (after adding comments for the rest of the week in) and tell you how much Camp McD will get and how much the Katrina Recovery charity will get. And I’ll post pictures of the checks or something to prove I actually donated the money and didn’t spend it all on tattoos and office supplies.
- Fix my damn TV Blog so that it looks right on Safari so I can write to it already. Damn. There is going to be a lot of TV excitement picking up again and I’d also like to find someplace to discuss how disappointed I was in Dirt.
- Take the Christmas crap up to the attic. It’s taking up obscene amounts of space in the garage right now and I fear the pile with mutate and form some sort of sentient being that will overtake our home in a flourish of tinsel and felt. Or it may just be annoying. Something like that.
- Book our hotel for the Nashville Marathon. I’m terrified the rooms are going to get sold out and we’ll have to stay someplace not within walking distance of the Start Line. The last thing I want to deal with that morning is finding a damn place to park.
- Book LilZ’s birthday party. I actually have to meet with a party planner, I can’t do it over the phone. How fancy is that? It’s like a cotillion or something. (No it’s not. It involves tokens. Any party that involves tokens can not be too fancy.)
- Update my design of this blog. I’m bored with this one. It’s time to move on.
- Start watching Battlestar Galactica already. MrZ watching the initial mini-series and keeps telling me how AWESOME it was and I need to watch it already. But the sleeping! It keeps holding me back!
- Finish Eragon. Yes, I’m still reading that. Shut it.
- Have movie night with LilZ that I keep promising him. I’m the queen of, “Sure! We’ll do that! Later.”
- Go take some pictures of downtown Huntsville now that I’ve got a nice, new, fancy camera. The weather hasn’t been cooperating with that goal, so I actually have something to blame for that not getting accomplished. Something other than my own laziness, of course.

I was also very disappointed in Dirt. I expected it to be so much better than it was.
Add another thing to your list–lunch with me…someday.
I’m jealous of your Nashville half-marathon trip, but not jealous enough to train and run it. When is it again?
Have a good day!
Just wanted to comment for a donation for Katrina. Also, you mentioned about the destruction in New Orleans and how you didn’t make it to the ninth ward… um, thank God, b/c that was and still is a really, really bad area and I don’t recommend going down there, even to just check things out! Please don’t attempt that again!
You know, I was kinda looking forward to Dirt but I completely forgot to watch it! I’m glad I didn’t waste my time. But then, I might like it. I’m looking forward to “I love New York” on VH1 – but really just to laugh at it. I hope I don’t lose too many brain cells! The premiere was so horribly great, but I believe New York’s mother is really a drag queen.
It’s nearly LilZ’s birthday again? Didn’t he just have one? Wowsas.
I will be very excited when you update your tv blog. I check it every day just to see if it has been updated. We watch a lot of the same shows. I’m also in love with Heros and can’t wait till it starts up again.
I can’t rememver whether I’ve commented before, but I might as well comment now to help out your cause.
You rock hardcore, and so does your blog.
Dirt disappointed me as well. Although how funny was HIMYM last night? Did you get to watch it?? Barney rocks.
Also…don’t want to get in a debate or anything but the 9th Ward ISN’T really really bad. There isn’t enough people living there to make it bad. In fact it is probably one of the safest places in the city. Considering that there was a shooting outside my house about a month ago and yesterday a victim was found in his house 2 blocks from my house….well that isn’t good. I live in what was considered a GOOD area. We will make it good again. Never live in fear.
De-lurking, again, to help your cause. I’m wondering how often one has to comment to not be considered a lurker anymore!
I was going to watch the premier of Dirt, but CSI was on at the same time, and I let TIVO choose the importance. I have the most recent Dirt sitting in TIVO waiting for me to watch it. Since I don’t have high hopes after reading your blog, maybe I’ll like Dirt… We shall see. And get to updating that TV blog!! I can’t wait to see what happens on Jericho!!!!
You have GOT to watch Battlestar! We just watched the miniseries and the first season and are waiting for Netflix to hurry up and send us season two already! It is awesome. You WILL NOT be disappointed. And I cannot wait to talk to you about the season one cliffhanger! I am on the edge of my seat!
De-lurking again! The best part about your blog is how often you post! I wonder… do you donate a $1 per comment or a $1 per commenter?
YAH, take new pictures of pretty cityscapes. D80, pppfftt. I seethe with envy.
My Battlestar is 24. Everybody I know is watching it, swears up and down how great it is and I still have yet to go there. I think it’s because Keifer looks more like his old man every year, and I’ve never gotten over Ordinary People.
Battlestar Gallactica and Eragon are on my list too. No idea when I’ll get to them. Good luck!
Hey!!!! Where’s the start/finish so we can try to come see you guys! We miss you lots and lots! We live east of Nashville now and would love the opportunity to catch a glimpse of Runner Kim in action!
