Dude. We’re so high tech.
Category: Randomly |

Look! LilZ and I did a podcast! It may suck in quality because I’m kinda new at this…I hope you like it! We’re just talking about TV because, well, it’s what we do. And I hope we do it well. (You probably won’t see the podcast tool if you viewing this entry in a feed reader - sorry! I don’t like to leave the comfort of my feed reader either!)

Bonus: Here is video of me goofing off. It’s tiny and boring, but it’s video of me trying to entertain myself while waiting on a restaurant to open. (It’s a quicktime format - sorry if that isn’t suitable for you.) But seriously - it is soooo lame. Seriously. So, if you can’t see it? You’re not missing much.

You have totally beat the odds and have overcome any TN accent you might have had. Really…I can’t even hear it until the end!
That was just pretty dern cool!

i was just wondering to myself the other day i wonder if zoot has a southern accent?
because, i’m from michigan, but a lot of my family is from texas, and it’s just something i wonder about.
anyway, you do have one–but it’s much different than any i’ve heard before. it’s like the middle of your sentences get a little southern, but you never end with a drawl or anything.

oh my god, i just realized that i was discussing the possibility of having a southern accent like it would be a bad thing–that’s not what i’m saying!
it just sounds different to my ear, that’s all.

when i visit my family intexas, they all make fun of my (midwestern) accent. which i really don’t believe exists. :)

anyway, the most important thing i wanted to say was how alike you and lilz sound.
wait–i’m not saying liz sounds girlie–the first thing that struck me was how deep his voice was, but you guys do have a similar voice and manner of speaking. it was really cute.

*that* was awesome!! i expected more of an accent…

  11. Ida Says:

LOVE IT. The video is awesome (if of course by awesome I mean a little geeky), and the podcast even better. You just keep finding new ways to entertain us.

  12. beachmommy Says:

a little geeky, but you wouldn’t do all the awesome stuff you do if not for a little “geek-dna”!! That was awesome!

  13. Bonnie Says:

That was cute! I also expected more of an accent. Oh & I have those same sunglasses. On me, I look like I have giant bug eyes. They look great on you.

  14. wn Says:

Zoot…you have the most DELIGHTFUL accent I think I have ever heard….:*)

    LOVE

  15. Nina Says:

I loved the video! Hope there will be lots more soon. If the Mexican restaurant you were waiting to open is On The Border, I’m going to be so jealous!!! We had one here and I was hooked and it closed. :( Their chicken tortilla soup and chips and salsa were the best!

  16. Lauren Says:

That was so great!! I loved the video, its so awesome to imagine what a person is like “in the flesh” and even more awesome when they’re even better than you imagined! You’re super!

  17. elena Says:

That was so fun. It reminded me of something ellen would do. Send it her way!

I expected you to be much like that from your writing. Of course, I have this idea in my head of what you are like in person and, well, it seems you are. And that is a good thing. :)

    Thanks for sharing!

  18. Madame Pocklock Says:

I almost spit soup all over my desk when you stuck your tongue out. I think it’s awesome that you posted that! I cringe hearing my own voice on my voicemail so I’m FAR from posting a video. Nice work!
