NYC’s loss is our gain! Hooray! We are selfish betches!

Not trying yet, but only because we were waiting for hubs to get a new job… and he DID! TODAY! MORE DOUGH! Can I get a woot!woot!?

So once we get caught up and ahead, then it will be time for Baby-makin’-palooza 2007. I am hoping for a girl this time. I have two boys already. We will see.

BOO on the period and missing out on BlogHer Business but YAY on more time with the family.

I guess I have to admit that I too hope for a miracle, though maybe right now isn’t perhaps the best timing. Are you thinking of actively trying at all?

I hate my period too…and it returned when Scout was 6 months old and I was still nursing all freaking day!!! I loved loved loved the way birth control kept my period under control. That will be one of the benefits of weaning…when I get around to it.
BUT I do say a little prayer of thanks every time it shows up….

I’m glad your trip was cancelled! Not that it’s a good thing you can’t take care of business, but this way you can take care of family and enjoy yourself!

I know what you mean about the period thing. I have a 6 yr old, a 2 1/2 yr old (damn, she’s almost 3 ARGH!) and a 2 1/2 yr old foster and every time my period comes I still get a little depressed, even though I don’t “really” want another one biologically (you want to talk body/uterus hates you? Let’s talk pregnancies!).

Well Zoot, you aren’t alone. My period finally showed up after 18 blissful months without it (and hello, I am still nrsing!! WTF is up with that?!?!?! OK, so i nurse like twice a day, and no more than 10 minutes at a time, but still – my boobs are still being used for more than decoration!) So um, yeah, the point here was I am also going to target today to buy Milk and tampons. And also eggs. The check-out clerk is going to think I’m making tampon pudding, and I bet they will be sorry they are going to miss out.
