I decided a couple of months ago to do a marathon in part because of the dedication that you've shown and the successes you've had so far. This past Sunday I ran my first Marathon, the ING Georgia Marathon in Atlanta. It was probably the hardest thing I've ever done. Like you I suffered some set backs in my training and my long run was only 13.1 prior to the Marathon. You've trained far better than I have and if I can finish you will definitely finish! Hah. I was once made so happy by a bottle of buck-a-beer and the fact that ER was a new episode that I had to weep for a few minutes before I could continue with my evening. AND last week, I was so pleased by a pair of clean socks that I had to scream and send three friends three different emails about the clean socks. I totally beat you in the needing to get out more category. Easy to please?
