…but I feel like I have to post something so no one worries I’ve been abducted by aliens. NikkiZ’s daycare is strictly enforcing the “No diarrhea diapers” policy so I’m home with her until we return to solid Poopdome. To make things even more awesome, LilZ is now sick. MrZ went to work because his is manageable and he missed yesterday. I’m here with two sick kids who are both asleep so I’m sneaking away to catch up on work and email. Days like this are tough on me for a million reasons. Most revolve around dueling guilt issues: Professional v/s Parental. Not to mention that I’m also feeling guilty because my sister-in-law is sick, probably because we hung out with her on Sunday. And my friend’s daughter is sick, the one who I’ve been cramming in the car every afternoon with my sick kids. So now add the guilt of spreading this disease to everyone else close to me and you can bet I’m in a super awesome place right now.

I am in the same place with you. Isabella is still sick, and now I’ve got it. I’ve missed an entire week of work, and this week was the week of state testing.
My little one is sick againtoo. We all had it over Easter, and it returned last night to my 6yo. Luckily my husband is able to be home with her today so I don’t have to miss work, but it sure is tough when your kids are sick and you have to choose. Hope everyone is better very soon!

Our daycare had pretty sick policies, ofcourse, once it starts goinig around it’s like the plague.

I might have to skip your blog for a few days lest I get the uber-contagious stomach bug! I’m pretty sure I can’t catch it through the internet but you never know. This thing seems pretty powerful. I would not like to have “Vomit/PoopFest” at my house, thank you very much. I think if I were you I would get a haz-mat suit ASAP so that you don’t contract this deadly bug!
I remember when my little one was in a fancy daycare that my old job provided. If Dawson had diarrhea or even a slight fever, they’d call me to come get him. I never missed so much work before. Finally I had to switch daycares and jobs. We’ve never been healthier!

Ugh! We just got rid of that crud. I was never so happy to change a diaper in my life as that first non-diarrhea one in 6 days.
Of course, my DD popped up an awful-looking rash as soon as the diarrhea and fever ended. I kept her out of daycare an extra day (though the doc swore she was no longer contagious.) If I had been one of the other parents I wouldn’t have wanted someone looking like my daughter did within a block of my kid.
Today we’re all finally back to daycare and work for the first time in a week+.
Oh no! Not LilZ- I thought he was keeping away, lol? I guess no dance, huh? Unless he has, like, a miracle recovery by tomorrow night. Ha. I hope he feels better, and NikkiZ and MrZ! Oh my.
