A Commercial for HD in Action
We bought the HD TV awhile back, but it has only really impressed me during Planet Earth because I’m girly and just don’t care about HD. I just want to see my shows. I don’t even really care if it’s in color.
But Sunflower? Has fallen so in love with the TV because it houses very realistic looking animals for her to watch and ponder the existence of. We caught her chasing a mouse and actually trying to paw at it during one HD show. Then the big cats came on and she found several different places to sit and watch the footage and was mesmerized by them for several minutes. It’s really neat because you can tell she knows they’re not real, but she’s still fascinated by them. Totally cool and makes me wish I could hear her thoughts.
That’s so cool — I don’t even have HD, but I did just get a new TV, and my dog goes NUTS when dogs are barking onscreen. I just watched Best In Show the other day, and the little dude was positively enthralled. I have no idea what would happen if I had HD. Man oh man.

When we got HD, our cat loved to watch golf, and try to chase the ball. Hillarious!
Hee. It’s hilarious when cats watch TV. Now I want my mom to get HD, just to see what my cat does.
That is precious. I’ll show the pic to my kids when they wake up — it will make them laugh.
Jack does the same kind of thing; but Jack is special so we suspect that he isn’t aware that these things in that box aren’t real. Jack is also spoiled and actually has his own chair that is positioned such that he can recline and watch tv at the same time.

I don’t drool over designer clothes or shoes – MAYBE over an excellent chocolate truffle, but that TV? DDRROOOLLL
How big is it, anyway?
I noticed the same thing with my dogs when we got our HD television. They never paid much attention to anything except that damn Domino’s Pizza commercial (the one with the doorbell) before but now they seem to really get into it. My 10 yr old rottie seems to like Lost and Survivor the most.
