I haven’t been able to stop the tears of happiness

They made us wait in the waiting room for about 30 minutes before taking me back. In that 30 minutes I became a basket case. When they called us back to the u/s room I was gripping MrZ’s hand so tight I feared I’d break it. When we saw the heartbeat? I immediately started crying and have barely stopped. I’m trying not to cry since I’m at work and that’s just embarrassing – but the tears are right under the surface. I’m just so unbelievably happy. They still saw some blood but are not concerned and just asking me not to exercise (well…if you insist) and to “take it easy.” We are 7wks along and our official due date is February 1st. Clear your calendars.

Thank you for being so nervous for me. Seeing all of your well wishes and notes of excitement just make it that much more awesome. I’m so proud of my intraweb friends I could kiss you all. Can you believe we’re doing this again? Time to sit back and relax – We’ve got a lot of boob sweat to discuss.

Congratulations! I have big smiles for you.

Also, I’m 15 weeks along with my first baby, due around December 10, and so far I’ve experienced NO boob soreness. You mentioned being concerned about that in your last entry, so I thought I’d ease your mind a bit. :)

  63. Jamie says:

Big big congrats coming your way!!! :)

I’m with Frema, the previous commentor. I never had boob soreness with either of my pregnancies. And I only threw up once during my first pregnancy and I think that was due to some exotic cheese sampler thingy I got into at my office during the holidays.

    CONGRATS again!!!

  64. Laura says:

Oh I’m so excited to read your update :) I was really rooting for you! I’ve been stressing like you over my new pregnancy and think it will be a lot of fun to watch your pregnancy as I go through my own. Not that it wasn’t fun just following your pregnancy with NikkiZ, that was pretty cool, but this time I get a baby too. Sounds like BONUS to me! I am also very happy for you – and I am 10 wks right now, due January 15th, and while I had some MAJOR boob soreness that still is not really gone, I also have had bleeding for the last four weeks and was told the same thing you were.

Hi. I’m Kim.

This is my blog that I've been writing on since January, 2004. I call myself Zoot as it's a derivative of an old childhood nickname. I used to write about my struggles to have children, but eventually I succeeded and now, I write a lot about those kids. I don't use my kid's exact names simply because if someone Googles their very unique names in the future, I don't want them stumbling upon my entries about boobsweat. I mean, would you hire someone whose Mom writes openly about such topics? NO. YOU WOULD NOT.

I love taking pictures and carry my camera (almost) everywhere I go. This means you'll see a lot of photos on this site. I also periodically post recipes I like as I've been slowly (but surely) learning to cook and I like to share my discoveries. Finally? I'm an annoying pop culture fanatic so I'll periodically ramble about Hunger Games or the latest Parks and Recreation.

I hope you like it here. If not? Please don't tell me. I cry easily.
