Today is my birthday! Woo Hoo! And I’ve spent it in the most awesome way possible: Cleaning Out The Garage. And I’m totally not lying, it has been cool because it’s something MrZ and I worked on together and it feels SO GOOD to know we can put a car in there now. We also put a bunch of crap up in the attic and threw even more crap away. Cleansing the clutter is honestly an awesome way to start a new year of your life.
But now I stink. Awesome.
We went out last night to the coolest pub I’ve been to here in Huntsville. It has a fantastically hip clientele and I felt very cool. They also had a great beer selection and I’m all about some tastey brews. We hung out at my brother-in-law’s house for a bit afterwards and it was just a great night. I have cool people in my life, that’s for damn sure.
We’re going to go get some food to grill for dinner since we’re still lacking a functioning kitchen. I bought some of my favorite wine and we’re just going to relax the rest of the day. All hail birthdays and being able to use that excuse to get out of changing poopy diapers.
Happy “no poopy diapers” Birthday!! Perhaps you should stretch that on through tomorrow too, since your birthday falls on the weekend and all. And since toddler diapers stink to high heaven.
