Here is my podcasts of chapters 1-5. It’s very raw and unedited because I don’t have much time as I’m sure the baby will be up soon. But, I hope, if you’re reading it too – it will feel like we’re talking about it. Remember – Comments are on Moderation but I’m not approving any until I’m done reading. Even then – I will NOT approve comments with spoilers, so if you want to make a specific comment about something specific, email me instead. Although – I won’t check that until I’m done reading either!

Dont feel like a geek! I started crying when I opened the book and read the inside of the dust jacket! I don’t beleive Hedwig is dead! Not poor Hedwig!

I thought I wouldn’t be able to get it last night, as I had an emergency surgery yesterday…but my sweet husband went out and got it for me!

I just finished reading a few hours ago. I just wanted to thank you for your iPod idea taking it to the release…I took mine, I was front in line and grabbed the book, put the iPod on as a kid next to me got his book and started reading from it, turned it up full volume and was really grateful for that idea from you!
I don’t think he would have given anything away though.
And man, the craziest thing happened when I was right in the middle of the intense stuff near the end of the book…we heard voices right outside the kitchen window, at like 1am NZ time, a male voice saying “PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK AND GET ON THE GROUND!” I thought someone was being attacked right outside my front door, on my driveway, and I was freaking out…I evacuated all my cats from the room, was tiptoeing around the house, while my Mum was freaking out upstairs and my boyfriend was listening in the toilet window…turns out it was a cop arresting someone, a couple of people had run down into my backyard to hide from the cops for some reason!
But I cannot tell you how PISSED I was to have to leave my book on the couch while I evacuated the living room. haha. The second the cops left, I went straight back to it
Poor Hedwig! I was so bummed…

We finally got our copy from Aamazon last night and I read chpts 1-5 immediately. But I feel so lost, so much reference to objects and people I read about too long ago in the last book. Enchanted mirror from Sirius? what’s that? Locket with RAB? I don’t remember that at all. And for the life of me, I don’t remember anything about Mundungus? I have already had to read about horcruxes on Wikipedia to understand that bit. Help me Zoot!!!! Do you know about any of these other items?
