Makes me feel guilty for sitting here sometimes wallowing in self pity over the everyday little struggles of keeping up with laundry, work and kids. Stories like that can sure put a life in perspective.
I know what you mean, Amy. It was brave of her to share her story, even now. I found her mother’s comment especially poignant.
That was an amazing, touching article. I came out when I was 25 and sometimes it seems like I missed out on a lot when I’m around people who came out in their teens. I can’t imagine waiting a lifetime to finally reveal my true self. Bless her. Thanks for posting that, Zoot.
