So - I’ve made several changes around here that I wanted to point out to those of you constantly hiding behind the feed reader (I see you! You can’t hide from me!)
1) I moved the comment leaderboard from the bottom of my sidebar to the top. These lovely people keep my blog active when I can not and I don’t thank them enough. So - I feel like they deserve a little bit more attention than being thrust below my Blingo button.
2) I add the Gravatar Plugin to my site. This means if you set up an account and an avatar to go with the email address you use here to comment, your picture will show up with your comment. I’m still not sure if I like this or not, what do you think? If more people used it I would like it for sure, but I’m not sure about the mystery shadow dude in my comments. Any thoughts?
3) I added a “Subscribe to Comments” plugin so that if you want to keep up with the conversation in the comments section (seen here), you can via email instead of having to keep coming back to my blog. No one is using this so far, but I’m hoping as I become better about responding in the comments, other people will want to check back.
4) I’m wanting to know what you all think I should change. Are there things on other sites you like and think I would find useful? Are there things you don’t like here? I’m trying to clean things up for Nablopomo. I can’t make everyone happy, but I would love to hear ideas/suggestions to see if there are ways I could improve this place. Thanks!

I like the gravatar…but yes it would be better if more people used it.

I would like to see (hear) more podcasts! I loved it when you and your son did the podcasts about the different TV shows and of course about the Harry Potter books.
I like the gravatars (I still haven’t made an account though, d’oh!). On another site, I saw something other than mystery shadow dude for those who don’t have one, but I don’t know; maybe it was another program — not the gravatar plug-in.
I want to comment, just so I can be in that list up there! I love the changes!
Maybe I’m a moron but Gravatar doesn’t seem to be working quite right and they don’t have an active help page.
I like everything else so far. I’m totally on board with Amy concerning the podcasts. LOVED them.

I really like the changes you’ve made recently. espically the follow up to comments. I haven’t used it yet, but I cna think of posts you’ve done in the past where it would have been neat to use, and I’m sure ther ewill be more in the future!

Everything looks great. I’m looking at the Gravatar thing… and they don’t have an easy way to use it on blogspot yet.

O.K. I signed up for the gravatar. All because I secretly *heart* you and love all the cool blog stuff you do. Actually by the time I got the Gravatar set up, I’d forgotten why I’d headed off in that direction and almost forgot to come back and comment.
And damn, it didn’t work.
Just a wee tip: You can change your default gravatar (that word always makes me think of Castle Grey Skull for some reason) icon so if people don’t have one it shows something other than creepy gravatar guy.
I love all of your changes, and I went and got me one of them thar gravatars just ’cause of you. I usually lurk, sometimes comment, but always visit.

I’m a fan of this Gravatar plugin, may have to add it to mine. I’m pretty much a fan of all plugins, though the feed burner one still trips me up a bit:0 I like to find cool plugins that I’ll actually use!
