Last Night’s TV
Category: NaBloPoMo - '07, T.V. Junkie |

Okay - first? I just finished watching Reaper because that’s what I do now that I wake up at 4:20am. (Sidenote: This entry will probably go live later in the day…so in reality I should say I finished the show this morning. But that’s too confusing.) I watch TV from the night before. And how hilarious is it that Lady Heather was the Devil’s girlfriend? Yeah - so EW refers to her a Julie Cooper-Nichol - we all know she was and will always be Lady Heather…Gil Grissom’s one true love. Not that Sara Sidle girl. I love Lady Heather and I would love it if she became a recurring character on Reaper.

I also watched Bones (last night), another show that EW is talking about today. I’m glad to see I watch the same shows as those guys. Makes me feel cool. I thought The Kiss was totally awesome and perfect in every way. EW did best describing it:

He had her gum in his mouth when they were done! She grasped his lapels with both hands! He seemed unsteady on his feet when it ended and she looked very, very pleased with herself.

For those of us being pulled in by those two character’s chemistry for years? It was perfect. I don’t think any of us want them to date, but it was a great taste of what could be.

Did you vote for Beauty and the Geek yet? No? Well, hurry! I think Dave and Jasmine have made the best transformation and should win, no doubt. But, I like both teams and think they have both done well. So, I won’t be too angry with the results either way.

I haven’t watched House yet, but I know who got booted thanks to my feed reader and the nineteen million TV blogs I subscribe to. I guess I’ll watch the episode tonight, but I hope it’s not too ruined knowing the results. However, I am glad with the results, no matter how they came to be. (I’m not saying who got booted in the entry b/c MrZ hasn’t watched it yet, I don’t think. Feel free to chat about it in the comments, though.)

I still have a few other things to watch from last night…but I’ll chat about those later. What did you watch? Any comments?

Arrgh… we missed House last night because of having to sing at a tree-lighting ceremony. I don’t guess I will get to see it until next week, when it shows up online at Fox On Demand.

I’ve never seen more than half of your favorite shows lol. I never get to watch TV but last night I was sick so I made the hubby take care of everything and actually watched the tube. I watched the biggest looser (for the first time) and they voted off B. It was sad! But he looked great, I can’t believe he has lost that much weight in that short period of time. Saddest part was at the end when he was talking and started crying with his family when he returned home!

I watched Beauty & the Geek (and have placed my vote or Dave and Jasmine…I completely agree that their transformation has been more noticeable, although I am fond of Sam and Nicole, too). Also, House (just wished he’d gotten to keep them all) and Nip/Tuck (the depravity that show exploits keeps me mesmerized).

    Sigh. Basketball. ’tis the season.

I’ve stopped watching House. The whole Survivor-you-get-voted-off-tonight thing has worn thin and is too much of a distraction. Am I the only one that feels that way?

I have to say, I was very disappointed that House got rid of my favorite candidate (Big Love) last week. Though at least he’s being allowed to keep Thirteen (sorry to anyone I may have spoiled that for — I always watch late b/c I don’t like the 2 year old to watch most of the shows I like).

We didn’t watch Bones yet but I am absolutely dying to see The Kiss — I’ve been waiting for it for EVER!

  7. Fraulein N Says:

I actually caught The Kiss. V. cute.

  8. Audrey Says:

We are behind on Beauty and the Geek, so I didn’t even know there was voting. Thanks for the head’s up!

Do you read Josh Wolk’s Amazing Race recaps on the EW website? My husband and I just about fall off the couch laughing every single time.

I have a hard time with Bones because the beginnings are usually so graphic.

But House was awesome. Just awesome.

  10. Missy Says:

We don’t get the rest of House here until next year … not impressed. Thank god for TWOP.

    Yay! Heroes is on tonight.

  11. Becky Says:

I’m getting sick of the games on House as well. Love the show, but am sick to death of caring about those residents. Wasn’t overly wowed by the show.

Did, however watch AND love SVU. It was a great one.

  12. Jenny H. Says:

The finale of DWTS. Which made me very happy.

And then nothing. I sucked last night.
