Project Runway

First: I totally knew who Tiki Barber was when I saw him. Partly because I watch the NFL relatively regularly, and partly because I fell in love with he and his brother when they used to do the credit card commercials. He is one pretty man. YUM.

I really thought that overall, the results were WAAAY better than I predicted. As a group - they did well. Individually? Definitely some crap out there. However, I was really disappointed that (1) Carmen got booted (I thought Sweat P was worse) and (2) Christian or Kevin’s or Kit’s didn’t win. They were my three faves. I thought Jack’s was okay, but it wasn’t even the top three in my mind.

America’s Next Top Model

I’m very sad to see Heather go. I knew she wouldn’t (or shouldn’t) win, but I really liked her being on the show. She seemed more real than the other girls. But - she is really only good on film. She doesn’t seem to translate well in person. I hope she finds success in her life though, she seems sweet. At this point, I think I’m rooting for Bianca. She seems the most down to earth and damn determined to win of the bunch. What do you think?

Law & Order: SVU

Man. That was a tough ending to watch, wasn’t it? If it had ended sad, I might have thrown something at my television. It was pretty intense.

What did you watch? Anything good?

I wanted Kevin’s to win. I really did. I thought it was a GREAT challenge however (did you see Elise do the spit mark again??)

Law & Order had me way too tense. I was possibly yelling at the TV.

I watched AMNTM in bits in pieces for the first time all season and have no opinion on those girls…I was also watching Kid Nation.

My shameful embarrassing show is A Shot at Love on MTV and they reaired the previous nights eppie so I could see who got booted…that is a train wreck of a show.

We watched Pushing Daisies and loved on Molly Shannon. And I’m still wondering if Kristen Chenoweth’s boobs will pop out of her dresses.

And we did watch Project Runway. I knew who Tiki Barber’s wife was, as soon as she walked in. Also, when they carried Christian into the work room in the big bag, it made me laugh so hard. I love that show!

EEK! I have not finished Project Runway yet. Oh well!

BUT, ANTM totally annoyed me. I seriously want Jenah to GO. Because she’s NOT. PRETTY. I liked Heather too, but it was kinda painful to watch how mean the other girls were to her. I hope they watch episodes of the show and see how they treated her - because they were not nice.

I’m rooting for Saleisha - but would be happy also with Bianca winning.

I also watched Dirty Sexy Money, which is my favorite new show of the season.

I could not get over Carmen putting that fabric around the neck to show what the shirt would look like. I am glad she’s gone. That’s all I got around to watching last night. Any chance that future “Last night’s TV” updates could be under a cut? I’ve got ANTM (and beauty and the geek from yesterday) tivoed for this weekend. Thanks!

I can’t remember how SVU ended!!!! I was decorating for Christmas, and I know I saw it, but I CAN’T REMEMBER!!!

I call BS on Heather’s elimination.

Here’s the problem I have with Tyra and Co. She seems to insist on having someone with a disability (or someone who overcame some illness) each season, but will not make any kind of accommodations for said disability. I’m not talking favoritism here, but with her autism and ADHD, Heather would have problems with the go-sees. (Best line of the night: “The map was in Chinese and it’s all Greek to me.”) Heather was, by far, the best print model, but if a huge part of the competition is based on who “sparkles” in person (and not all models do), they why even put her through that?

I’m rooting for Jenah. She’s seems the least phony. (My early favorite was Rebecca, the Yalie who mouthed-off to Twiggy,)

Hm, I haven’t watched SVU in a while! I’ll have to get on that. I wish I had a tivo!

I must confess to watching Kid Nation. I swear some of those so-called “kids” are really grown-ups in disguise! They’re so mature for their young ages!

I’m excited that Project Runway is still so good! I thought for sure that Kevin would win, but didn’t really mind that Carmen was kicked off. Especially since she was one of the bottom ones in the last show, too. It was definitely a nice twist to have some male models. Yum. ;-)

ANTM… I was so unhappy that Heather went home. I don’t understand why they don’t give her extra coaching or something because of the problems she has. Or at least cut her some slack! If they can’t do that, then they really shouldn’t allow someone with those problems on the show. Because, obviously, the have no chance to win. Jenah is not pretty, she’s frumpy and weird looking and I want her to go home. But my least favorite? Is BIANCA. I think it’s because of how mean she was to Heather, and how arrogant she can be.

This season is not my favorite. Which is so sad, because I love ANTM in a big big way. =(

OMG I was at work last night and missed SVU. Must find a way to watch it. *cries*

All we watched was House. I’m boring.

ANTM - yeah, I was rooting for Heather even though I knew there was no way that she would win. She was AWESOME on film when she just thought about her posing as an artistic drawing. I really really do not like Bianca - mostly because she’s been so snotty and mean to the other girls. Salicea (or however you spell it) is annoying to me - which means she’ll probably win. She’s just to fake bubbly and she doesn’t seem to have her OWN personality.

Early on I though Rebecca was amazing - I loved that she stuck up for herself. I was ticked that she was called out on that so much when Tyra herself advocates for “strong women”.

    Oh well, such is life.
