Proudly Addicted To Smoothies
Category: I (heart) food |

I participated in a function with the 3aday.org awhile back and since received the very AMAZINGLY COOL AND AWESOME opportunity to write an article for their website. Seriously. Someone asked me to write for them. You have no idea how honored I was. Especially because they wanted me to write about food. Seriously? Like I don’t do that every day anyway.

Here is my article. I am so incredibly proud to have my name on a real article I almost cried when I read it. I hope you’ll stop over and read it and maybe even try out some of the awesome smoothie recipes I discovered.

Smoothie Night

My kids really liked this assignment as well. Can you tell?

I need some smoothie recipes. Something where you can sneak in the goodies that make kids grow big without them knowing it’s good for them. :)

Congrats on the article! You even more interwebby famous now :) And hey - that website has some great ideas, so thanks for that, too! We started makin smoothies about 2 months ago when Girl! just stopped eating. She’d drink anything, but wouldn’t eat, so I started comming up with some ideas to get nutrition in her without making a big deal over it. almsot 3 months later and we still ahve smoothies at least twice a week, sometimes more.

Congratulations Zoot! I remember one time I had an article published about WAH moms when I just had started out and only typed for a few local students from a college. It was thrilling to see that online article!!! that’s the only one I ever did and I should try again….

GREAT article! I love the 3 a day website’s recipes. I have a dumb question-in that strawberry yogurt smoothie, it calls for strawberry low-calorie drink mix-is that like sugar-free koolaid powder? Or Carnation instant breakfast?

    Woohoo!

It’s funny–the writing is definitely “you” but it’s toned down or neat and shiny or something. Hmm. That makes it sound like you’re a loud crazywoman or messy and dull in your blog. I donno. I guess it’s more classic essay than your blog posts. It’s neat to read other styles of writing by you.

  12. Jules Says:

    Congrats on the article!

The Berry Blast Smoothie sounds good too. I’m allergic to strawberries, so I didn’t look at the recipe immediately. Where did you find almond butter?

  20. Bunny Says:

That is awesome! I have recently discovered smoothies and they’re not really that hard to make. Hmm, maybe I’ll have one for breakfast now that I think about it. It’s so exciting that your article is there. It looks great!
