We just got back from the park a little while ago. LilZ and I both took our cameras on the outing and he ended up taking a bunch of pictures of me and NikkiZ. While I kinda hate them all (Frizz! Belly! Blotchy!) because I’m in them, I’m really glad he took them because it’s proof that sometimes I actually participate in the fun instead of just document it.

too too cute! You both are certainly having a great day!! I managed to avoid having any pics taken when I was pregnant since I am the only picture-taker in our family … and while I am sure I would not be happy with the look – I was not an attractive preggers mom, I regret that I have no documentation at all. (well, except for the three kids, I guess)!

Those look great, and I think you’ll like them better later. Whenever I get a rare photo with me in it, I just squint to crop it, and then I don’t look at it again. A few years later, I LOVE it and can’t believe I didn’t like it at the time.
….If this is because I look worse and worse with time, and therefore better and better in retrospect, I DON’T WANT TO KNOW.

I hate having my picture taken but I know I should make more of an effort to do so. It’s just hard.

My family constantly complains about me hiding behind the lens.
Thanks to some really anal retentive tagging I could easily do the math and out of the 14,000+ photos in my account on Flickr I’m in only 3%.
But I totally agree with Swistle’s comment above, over time I kind of like the pictures that I couldn’t stand when they were taken. I look at them and think, “I didn’t look so bad there – why did I think I was fat then?”
You look awesome! It’s finally gotten warm enough here in the last week to get some playground time in. woohoo! can’t wait for more!
