I am one of the many who really dislike (possibly hate) partial feeds, I’m glad to see someone intelligently write about why full feeds are better.

Re: the fourth - nothing is ever simple, is it? I didn’t know about the suit or any of that, but I don’t really want to, and just want to say, “Why can’t everybody get along?” (Of course life’s not that simple, but it might be nice!)

I’m delurking to ask you a question…what kind of camera do you have? I’m so tired of having great backgrounds outside or inside and my pictures suck!! I don’t want to spend a ton of money, but I want good quality pics. If you have any suggestions, I’d appreciate it.

I am so with you on the partial feeds! Most of the time I just won’t even bother. If I see something in the title and/or the first sentence that I want to comment on, I’ll go comment on that particular part. But nine times out of ten, I am not even reading the rest of the post. And if there was something important in there that I didn’t address? I come across as insensitive, I’m sure. But partial feeds are just too much trouble.
Good for The Leaky Cauldron! I’m all for online fandom, but Rowling does own the rights to the world she created, and online fandom exists at her discretion (just ask the Anne McCaffery fans!); if she wants the print rights, or doesn’t want other people making money off her property, that’s pretty much her call, and not a threat to the fandom at large.
