First of all? I hate you all. You were supposed to say, “OH! Three is SOOO easy! Never fear!” But no – you had to go and be honest and tell me how much more age 3 sucks than age 2. I thought about banning you all from this blog forever.
BUT – we went and flew kites this morning and LilZ took such hilarious action shots of my giant pregnant ass trying to fly a kite that I would hate for you all to miss them.
I have a feeling my doctor would frown on that type of activity. A hugely pregnant woman should not be putting her body through the pain of RUNNING. But I’ll do anything for a good laugh.

I think you look awesome. LilZ took some nice action shots.
We flew kites last night! I had forgotten what fun that is. I had also forgotten the heartache and despair that comes from a kite getting caught in a tree. D’oh!
You look like you’re having so much fun, and you look absolutely fabulous doing it!
You look beautiful and tiny. How do you keep all the weight in your tummy woman? And even at that you only look about 5mos. preggo! Quit running in flip flops though. First I have to tell you to stay off ladders and now this
I’m probably paranoid because I fell and endangered my kids lives a few times while pregnant, but still, be careful.
seriously? you do not look like you are going to pop any moment. You look AWESOME!! awww kite flying…how fun!!
I know you dont feel like you are cute but you REALLY are! I see no giant ass. I love these pictures, thank you for sharing them, the first one is my favorite.
Aw, you look so happy and not “hugely” anything, really.
That looks so fun! I’m jealous that I am stuck inside. It is supposed to rain here starting this afternoon until Monday. UGH!
As for the 3’s…yes they are worse than the 2’s, just because they are much more opinionated. As a non-parent, I know that I am only speaking from my babysitting/child supervision duties, but it’s also hard because you are trying so hard not to laugh at them. So, as you are trying to punish them…you are are trying not to crack up.
You look great, hon! Really! That colour is very nice on you too
Actually for a pregnant lady I thought your ass looked rather small and petite.
I think you look absolutely gorgeous. And like you’re having a lot of fun, which is the most important thing. Tell LilZ those pictures were wonderful.
1. I think I need that Elmo kite for my son ASAP.
2. However did I miss that you have hills in Alabama? AL is on my Final Nine missing states list, so I did not know this. Apologies.
3. I concur that you look like a delicious orange creamcicle in that top. But maybe that’s because I’ve been hallucinating ice cream truck bells for days.
Now we already told you to drink beer to help your milk come in right after AndyZ is born. What more can we do?
You look fabulous! What a beautiful day to fly a kite.
I bet the boob sweat was nearly niagra falls with the running.
Oh my gosh, Kim. You look so happy that I honestly considered running around outside myself. Except for, you know, the hail and stuff. Also, I could not have hauled my ass around like that shen I was pregnant. Go you!
that first picture is priceless. and, you know? there might be something going on with lilz and this whole photography thing. he really seems to have a knack for capturing ‘real’ moments. i can’t think of a better way to put that…but i’m consistently amazed by his pictures.
at any rate, it looks like you had a great time. and you don’t even look super-huge! maybe that makes you want to smack me, because you probably FEEL super-huge…but i think you look great. healthy. alive. and, happy.
in other news: are you still thinking about changing the kids’ blog-names? i think i might have missed it if you ever came to a conclusion after the initial wondering post…
You look great! What is your secret?
aw you look awfully darn cute
I think you’re a beautiful pregnant lady. What with the ankles and elbows and all. I lost all definition of shape as soon as I confirmed preg #2.
As for the terrible twos … we experience something similar. And I don’t know if it’s that she’s a 2nd child, a girl, some of both, or maybe I had the episodes of my son’s terrible twos erased from my memory.
you look great! when I was five weeks from giving birth I coudl barley walk, much less run! Looks like it was a fun morning!
You’re adorable! It just goes to share that pregnant women can still have tons of energy! Great smile, too.
