I was 5 months preggie with big boy resting his big head on my bladder. I was also this same weekend last year on a canoe trip with girlfriends; yes preggie.

Next year I hope to be working in parttime or fulltime capacity in the Lutheran church. Preferrably, in the Educational Technology area.

Lets see last year at this time, I was totally bummed because I wasn’t knocked up yet.

This year, I have a 3 month old daughter (yay for heat waves and maragrita’s in August!!)

I hope that next year finds me watching my kid and husband playing in the pool.

I don’t even want to think about 1 year ago. Broken leg for mommy, two very bored kids (1 and 5) and total torture for all other family members. Our whole summer was ruined! It was my right leg so we couldn’t even drive anywhere alone!

Last year – I was in a July funk with a computer that was repeatedly experiencing ‘thermal events’.
This year – I am in another July funk, Winter has just kicked in with a vengeance, luckily August is nearly here.
Next year – I will be funkless and about to embark on a trip of a lifetime.

Dood. A year ago I was 38 weeks pregnant. Wishing the damn baby would be like its brother and come out at 38 weeks. Nope she stayed in until 40 weeks 2 days.

This year I have an almost 1 year old and a 5 year old who starts kindergarten next month. They grow way too fast.

I had to laugh in rememberence when I read your post. I distinctly remember after we ahd taken our oldest to college sitting rocking my 2 year old to sleep, very pregnant, looking into my son’s empty room and sobbing. I still don’t know if I had such a hard time adjusting to him being gone because I had a hard time with it, or if it was the pregnancy hormones. I bet you will be crying a lot. You two are so close. Still, I hope, even with the twinges of sadness, you’re in a good place in July, 2009. You seem like the kind of person who deserves it.
