- I bought the soundtrack to “Once More, With Feeling” - the Buffy musical episode. I have now listened to it 900 times. It is the best musical soundtrack EVAH. My favorite part is when Anya sings about how evil bunnies are: “What’s with all the carrots? What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?” BRILLIANT.
- NPH is SO yummy. I want to go buy this issue of OUT magazine just so I can pinup pictures of him in my locker. Yes. I know I’m a 33-year old woman without a locker. I also know he’s gay. WHO CARES?
- I’m just a short ways into Breaking Dawn. I had to finish reading the book from LilZ’s summer reading list so I can talk to him about it (Read: Make Sure He Actually Read It) before school starts tomorrow. I’ll let you know when I finish. So far? STRANGE. Not going anywhere I expected.
- My new phone came in today. Turns out I was eligible for a free phone so I just ordered that instead of trying to use one of LilZ’s old phones. The only one they had in stock was blue. Am I too old to be using a blue phone? Too late.
- I have fallen completely in love with Joshua(r) from So You Think You Can Dance. He is so adorable and talented and while I doubt he’ll win, he’s the one I’m rooting for. With Katee coming in a close second.
- I’ve been dragging stuff up to the attic today, trying to get some last minute house stuff done before going back to work. Did you know that an attic is about 9 million times hotter than the outside? Well, I knew that. But it didn’t stop me from spending just enough time up there to almost pass out coming down the stairs. I’m awesome like that.
I just made my boyfriend watch a few of the songs from the “Once More With Feeling” episode after we saw “Dr. Horrible.” He hasn’t seen Buffy before (just Firefly and now some of Angel), but I think Joss Wheedon’s musicals are still pretty entertaining without knowing the back story.
Oh, also I LOVED that Out article! I have such a crush on NPH!

I agree Breaking Dawn went somewhere very interesting…it will get better. You’ll have to post more about your feelings on it when you are done.
Joshua has to win, or I will be CRUSHED!!! I have never watched this show in past years, but I am hooked this time.
And I am still waiting for my daughter to get her copy of Twilight back from her friend so I can start reading the series. I think it would be faster for me to walk to your house (from Vancouver!) and borrow your copy. Will you be home three years from Tuesday?
My favorite song off that soundtrack was “Walk Through the Fire”. I STILL listen to it. Years later. God, that was such a good show.
I also may or may not have an mp3 of the “Firefly” theme song. I will admit nothing.
I am almost finished with Breaking Dawn and don’t worry it gets good.
I LOVE NPH!!! I want the Out mag also. He is looking HOT in leather pants. I bought Dr. Horrible Sing-Along Blog on iTunes and watch it almost everyday!
Also bought two t-shirts from Dr. Horrible one with NPH on it!
SYTYCD is great this season. I think it is the best so far.

Ummm…I just got a new cell phone today and it’s hot pink and I’m 38…you’re never to old for colored phones! Hubby is 43 and his is neon green.

Did you know that in some places they show the whole eppie and have a sing a long as it plays?? I guess in L.A. some of the cast tends to show up. I would love to see that
My phone is red, so I think it’s never too late for a cool phone. (As long as it’s not covered with glittery stickers, I think you’re cool.)
I’m up to page 5-hundred-something in Breaking Dawn. It’s … interesting. Different, but not in a bad way. I think she really should have split it up into two books. I’m reluctant to post thoughts because I know people are at different points in the book. We should have some kind of online book club thing when we’re done.
I’m interested to read what you think about Breaking Dawn. It’s funny, when I started reading them last week at the airport, I had no idea the huge phenomena they were. I have mixed feelings about them over all, but I have to say, anything that keeps kids and teens reading for 700 FREAKING PAGES is sweet.
I’m so glad you love Joshua now. He’s my favorite, as I think I said in a previous comment here and even though I don’t actually think he should win (and I’m still feeling the sting of Will being eliminated), I still can’t get enough of him.
