I’ve documented here before my love of stuffed animals and my joy in finally experiencing Build-A-Bear on my own. I’ve also mentioned how much I love Hannah Montana on several occasions. Although, LilZ would like me to point out that he does not watch that show anymore and if I’m watching it, I’m watching it alone. He seems very picky that I mention this ever since that time he overheard me lying my ass off about watching the show with him to someone else. But – can you blame me? I didn’t want them to think I watched it because I liked it! What good are kids if you can’t use them as cover for your childish interests?
Anyway…
So, consider how psyched I was when I was sent a Hannah Montana Build-a-Bear before they’re even available on the SHELVES. Dude – you can not imagine how psyched I was. Seriously. It’s sad.
We went yesterday to buy NikkiZ a Hannah Montana outfit for her Build-A-Bear (Pinky) so that it could match my her new Hannah Montana bear. While there I found myself mentioning to two different employees that I had the Hanna Montana bear at home – ALREADY. I was that proud and felt the need to brag. I have stooped to a new low.
We also decided to let NikkiZ make a bear for AndyZ while we were there. He is a Koala bear that she named “Turtle.” And, of course, we had to pick out a formal gown for her Pinky because…um…I have no idea. That store makes me do stupid things. I make no excuses.
I should have bought HER a new shirt while we were out.
Oh, man, I LOVE that store. I have never actually built a bear—but I want to so badly. For me, the fun is CHOOSING: WHICH animal? WHICH outfit? WHICH accessories? I don’t know if I’d even want to keep the resulting creation—I just want to PLAY.
Build a Bear is great. Even if you have to throw down $100 every time you enter! My daughter went to the mall the day her little brother was born, she was 4, and made him one. It’s very special now after 2+ years, and hopefully always will be.
Okay, one more reason I’m not allowed in B-A-B, LOL, and that would be the koalas, LOL.
Here’s where I admit to you that I REALLY want to go to Build a Bear. I’m going to have to see if I can borrow my niece for the day. Then, we’ll go to Chuck E Cheese, because I really like the pizza there.
I think it’s hilarious that you were “lying your ass off” about watching Hannah Montana with LilZ. And even more so that he wanted you to tell the truth, on the record.
I have two BABs (Goose has like 9 or 10) their names are Lulu (a free spirit) and Claire (an homage to Molly Ringwald.)
As for TV, I won’t talk about how I have Goose pause the TV when I need to leave the room while iCarly is on. Nope won’t talk about it at all.
Oh I hate it when there’s a new episode that I haven’t seen before and Puddin looses interest and leaves the room and the Mr. then turns the channel.
I can’t possible be all “Hey I was watching that” because he would make fun of me no end. But OMG I was so watching that!!
