Salt goes into the shaker with the most holes b/c we use a lot more salt than pepper and for some unknown reason, that’s just how both of us were reared.

When I salt food I’m careful (who wants salt overload on something) and when I pepper food I shake the hell out of it, so salt = less holes, pepper = more holes.

the pepper goes in the one with more holes. because, when has anyone ever said: ‘wow. that pepper came out way too fast!” see what i mean? wherever i go, it seems like the pepper shaker is clogged and i can’t get any damn pepper out!

don’t get me wrong, i love me some salt. but salt seems to always make it’s way out of the shaker just fine, no matter where i am. there must be something inherently more clog-able about pepper. so, i say: give the pepper a chance! give it some more holes to work with!

this is NOT an entry for the contest because I don’t need another internet time-sucker.

I put the salt in the one with more holes. I really love salt, I also love pepper, but it is more socially acceptable to use lots of pepper so if it takes more shakes to get your pepper out no one thinks “should you really be having that much pepper?”. It’s more about avoiding the judgement over my salt lust.

Salt goes in the one with more holes and pepper goes in the other one…However, I never use pepper at the table, just when I cook and at the stove/counter I use the large pepper container (because I’m usually measuring) so the pepper on my table is whoknowshowold and the salt I refilled last weekend.

I put salt from the salt tin directly into the dish I am cooking and my soup if it needs more. The salt and pepper shakers are just there so that my table doesn’t feel left out from other tables

You see, I am too lazy to clean those, fill those and all the rest of it. Plus, some of those shakers have very small holes through which you can fill the stuff! Really!

I like to put my salt in the shaker with the fewest holes. It comes out faster than pepper does so to avoid salt overdose, I use the fewest holes. Plus I like a lot of pepper so more holes works in that sense. *smile*

I put the salt in the one with more holes. I guess it comes from growing up with salt-a-holic parents and because the one with fewer holes usually has bigger holes for the pepper to pass through. But now that I am all grown up (ha, right…good one), I have pepper grinder because I prefer my pepper freshly ground.

As for Flickr…I love it. I keep pressuring everyone I know to use it. I am acutally going to buy a couple of my friends subscriptions to pro for Christmas to make them feel like they need to use it.
