I figured I’d create one of those survey/meme things for us babies as a way for us to get to know each other better. Remember, it’s what YOU like, not what your parents like.
1. Cloth or disposable? My mom has never tried cloth diapers on me. She hates the earth, you know.
2. Breast or bottle? Dude…food is food. I’ll take it wherever I can get it. Although to spare my Mom’s feelings (she’s sensitive you know) I’ll say I like her version BEST.
3. Eczema or reflux? Eczema, craddle cap, allergies…you name the skin condition and I got it to some degree. I thank my Dad’s sensitive skin genes for those annoyances. My digestive system is strong as an ox though!
4. Jumparoo or play mat? Since my parents still haven’t gotten the play mat down from the attic yet, I don’t know how I’ll feel about that. But right now? My fave is the excersaucer!
5. Mommy or Daddy? Brother! And Sister! Mom and Dad are kinda boring…
6. Sling, front carrier, or stroller? I’ll only do the sling if I’m sleeping. I like the front carrier pretty much but lately I’m antsy in it because I can’t see very well. I’m not sure about the stroller yet..I’ll get back to you on that one.
7. Pacifier or thumb? Again…I’m not too picky! I’ll take whatever is closest to my mouth.
8. Bumbo seat or bouncy seat? Bumbo ALL THE WAY. But I also like the Boppy pillow if I’m a wee tired. The bouncy seat is something I’ll only tolerate at daycare. At home? It bugs me.
9. White noise or silence while sleeping? I prefer it quiet…like my Mom.
10. Crib, Pack’n'Play, or parents’ bed? In bed with Mom and Dad still. My Mom’s lazy, you know. She doesn’t like to have to move when it’s time for me to eat. I’m betting if I slept in the crib or Pack-n-Play I’d just starve all night.

I love it! I think I’ll have to do it for my little one. She is about the same age as AndyZ (I think she was born the following week), and she just found her feet too. It’s about the cutest thing she’s done so far. She always grabs them and then rolls onto her side. She’s also trying to get them to her mouth, but can’t quite do that yet.
Babies are just the best thing ever. (I’m sure I’ll change my tune as she gets older, because I think that she, herself, is about the best thing ever.)

Enjoy the camping. I hope all goes smoothly. Last month I had the pleasure of meeting a fouur month old baby who came camping with our bunch of friends. She was a delight and had lots of people happy to hold her. She woke up early but so did the farmer who came collecting our money at 7.AM bellowing “Camp fees”. Charmed.
Hey Zoot - I have been reading / commenting for awhile. I just decided (this morning) that I needed to blog just to have a record for my daughter’s life. (Like you I am not crafty).
I thought I remembered somewhere that you had free blog designs? Am I crazy? I’m totally new at being on *this* side of this, and I would be willing to pay a reasonable amount for a better design than one of the blogspot templates. I know you’re super busy, but if you have a minute - could you e-mail me?
