NaBloPoMo:FAIL
Oops.
I forgot to post an entry yesterday. I have officially, for the first year ever, failed NaBloPoMo. I suck.
I have so many really good excuses, I really do. There’s the Sick Dog thing, the HUGE Deadline At Work thing, the Getting Ready to Travel With Small Children thing, and the Holy Crap My House Is Disgusting thing. Oh – and then the Wait, Do These Kids Expect Me To Feed Them? thing. That one is always getting in my way.
(And let’s not forget another thing which I can’t mention because my son sometimes reads my blog in front of his friends and he would be MORTIFIED. Let’s call it this: When AndyZ Eats, I Cry thing. The end.)
So. Good excuses. I SWEAR. But, that doesn’t mean I still don’t suck. So – let me post a picture of my cute son and my sexy husband with a pacifier in his mouth!
Does that make up for it?

That was odd. When I read this in the Reader is still showed AndyZ’s real name. Now it’s not. Bizarre that the Reader would hang on to the unedited post. I made my NaBloPoMo deadline last night with about 3 minutes to spare—and about 2 minutes of life left on my laptop battery.

I did check a few times yesterday…was kinda worried for a bit, then I realized that maybe you were travelling already and it didn’t post for you. Funny how we worry about people we haven’t met other than through reading their blogs!! So I am glad things are okay…and that is an adorable picture!!

50,000 words, no one blames you. I would have been seriously impressed if you’d done with all that’s going on at your house. I think my husband made it to like 8,000 and then life took over.
