It's made me think a lot about what I write: do I sound authentic? Am I one of the Hallmark bloggers they refer to? It's hard to be a mom, but one of the reasons I started a blog was to keep memories of my daughter that she could read someday (I was a miserable FAIL in the baby book department. Seriously, "Notes About Month 1?" How does "we survived" sound?) Since I hope that she'll read it sometimes, any hard times that I have tend to be tempered with the good, the message that it's worth it. Does that make me inauthentic? I'm not sure. I have been thinking that my blogroll has gotten stale, many of my old reads are no longer interesting to me or relatable, but I often feel like I can't find any good new blogs.
