Those pictures are beautiful. Their friendship is also a thing of beauty. Generally, I don’t prefer kids past a certain age when they acquire that teen angst and attitude. You don’t see any of that in that picture, just good friends. Beautiful.

Oh. My. Goodness!!! For some reason I still expected “little girl” looking girls, not beautiful young ladies! And don’t get me started on LilZ! When did this all happen?? He’s so grown up!

Their long-standing friendship is something to be envied. I hope they stay close for their entire lives!

That is too cool for words. Love the pictures of them. We were doing “dive-in movies” tonight in the backyard (wading pool, movies on the laptop, cooler full of beer and sodapops) but idiot neighbors were being rowdy and rude and kind of ruined it. We’ll be over it by… oh, wait, we’re already over it!

I think we’re going to ride bikes and play. The hotel sounds fun, enjoy it. Your daughter is obviously a City Child who wants to live at the Plaza.

when i saw your new pix the other day it prompted me to find other old ones of all three of them i had on my work computer, and i came up with the one of them (w/ colin) from ariel’s 4th bday (on the hottest freaking day of the year). and i’ve welled up several times while looking at them through the years.

i thought i was done with that until your post today, damn you!

those 3 are so blessed, for sure…just like you, stac, and i are, too!

I also love the friendship of the 3…how wonderful for them to have such a strong friendship! Makes me wonder where some of my close childhood friends are…

I love those two pictures – I keep going back and trying to figure out which girl grew up to which one and which one now lives in Seattle. As if you can tell who lives in Seattle based on their clothing?..
