The Blame Game
I returned from New York late last night. I’ll fill you in on the details of the wonderful (but short) trip later because right now I can only focus on two things:
1) I’m getting my wisdom teeth cut out in 2 1/2 hours!
2) What type of special moron plans that procedure less than 12 hours after she returns from an exhausting trip to the Big Apple with her toddler? Me! The moron in crazy teeth pain!
So…you will have to wait. I will tell you one story that I’d like you to discuss in my absence. As we were waiting for my luggage last night (The whole family was there because I made them all come since I was gone for TWO WHOLE DAYS and I missed them like crazy.) I was asking NikkiZ about her soccer game. She was telling me that she played great and then said, “But Mom! You forgot to tell us to pack water for me so I didn’t have any for the game!”
Thanks, kid. I love that I’m gone and something goes wrong…It’s still my fault. MrZ assured me he never said anything like that, which he didn’t have to do. I know he would never blame something like that on me. It’s just that in her head…that’s MY job. It didn’t get done so somehow it’s MY fault. I just love the way those little minds work.
So…I’ll see you later. Hopefully after I’ve come out of my drunken stupor. I’ve told MrZ to stop me from approaching the computer today just in case I get some sort of urge to blog while in a fog of pain meds and anesthesia. While I’m sure you guys would find the output entertaining, I’m betting I’d regret whatever I wrote when I sobered up.
Good luck! Just remember to keep up with the pain meds AND ice packs. And the good news is, you’ll never have to have them out again!!

Best of luck with your wisdom teeth! I remember my pain (all 4 out at once) was sucky but manageable, and I was back to normal in a day or two, just tender of course. Hopefully that will be the case for you, too. Enjoy your ice cream and jello and smoothies!

They give out Rx’s for fun pills after the wisdom teeth extraction.
I saw on twitter it was canceled. Actually you would have been a genius doing it this way had it occurred. Bet you would have been crashed out not only from the meds but because you were exhausted!! That would have have been awesome….
