I know what you mean about having a hard time asking for meds (they only give non-prescription Tylenol and Motrin every 4 hours after C-section here and looking back I'm thinking: dear LORD why didn't I cave and ask for something stronger?) but sometimes you just NEED them. They put me on hydrocodone after I had my wisdom teeth out. I took one a few hours before I went to bed that night, and 3 in the morning, I went running to the bathroom and threw up in the hall - because I couldn't make it to the bathroom. :\ We can only account it to the fact I had no food in my stomach. Just try and be careful with it, and make sure you have something in your stomach before you take it. It was nasty. I hope you feel better. =( Just be careful with the pain meds. That sounds insane. I would call and demand they see me the next day or see someone else in in his practice. I hate taking pain meds too but from experience, tooth pain is the worst thing ever, don't make yourself suffer more!
