Cabin Fever
I got out of the house a bit yesterday to get the big kids to school and then out again pick them up early due to the snow. I also ran a few errands for the football party last night. And then, around 3pm or so, the roads started getting kinda icy. And school was canceled today. And I have officially been stuck in this house for less than 24 hours – yet I still feel like I’m already losing my mind. I am a homebody in terms of socializing, I don’t like to... Read More
One Week In…

(Also, if you’re struggling to keep up with what’s coming back or what is new? Here are two resources: TV Addict’s January Calendar and my favorite critic’s Winter TV Preview.) There are a lot of shows listed below.... Read More

I often discuss the positives of having kids spread so far apart. Namely? It’s like having three parents around. Except for one of them doesn’t change diapers. (Guess which parent that is.) I can run go get NikkiZ from school if AndyZ is still napping because LilZ is at home and can get him if he wakes up. MrZ and I can go to a late movie because LilZ is here if the kids wake up. There are many, many times that I’ve thought two parent households have it tough... Read More
