Happy Valentine’s Day!
I got my husband Zombieland for Valentine’s Day because I really love him. Like I love Zombies. Except I don’t really love Zombies. But if I did? I would totally steal a ring from one of LilZ’s BFFs that says, “I love Zombies” on it. Because it is the BEST RING EVER. Even if you don’t love Zombies. Which I don’t. Because that would be cheating on my Wizards, Vampires and Werewolves. I’ve got enough of my Fantastical Lover plate, than you very much.
Anyway…HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!
I just want to say that, I love Valentine’s Day. I see nothing wrong with a fake holiday that motivates people to do nice things for each other. Yes…we should do those things all the time. But we (I?) don’t. I tend to get too wrapped up in life to do it any other time than when the calendar tells me to. So, if those days weren’t on my calendar? I may be too busy doing laundry to buy my husband romantic movies about Zombies.
But I also wanted to tell you all how much I love you. Someone joked and said I don’t need therapy because so many of my blog friends give me excellent support. And you know what? She kinda has a point. I’ve often had BIG THINGS going on my life I can’t blog about and I always struggle coping in those times because this really is a therapeutic thing and my friends behind the comment box really help me in so many ways. More ways than most of you probably realize. Thank you. I love you. And if you were here right now? I’d hug you…and maybe give you a movie about Zombies.
I’m reading blogs today with my 3-year-old son. I want NikkiZ’s ring. He wants AndyZ’s Spidey shirt.
I don’t want the zombie movie, but maybe AndyZ would share his cupcake (I can’t really tell what it is other than chocolate covered and NOMNOMNOM) with me.
I like that you share Valentine’s Day with your kids; that’s really sweet!

I love you because you’re “real.” You celebrate your successes and admit your foibles, but overall you’re upbeat and can always put a smile on my face.
I haven’t written to my blog in well over a year. I don’t know how you do it (I’m too busy reading everyone else’s blogs, I guess).

Hee, I love that little ring and manicure! I just saw Zombieland and really liked it. It was just as funny as the trailers made it look, which is rare.
